The location was good easy to access, near the metro station, and only few walks to reach myeongdong shopping district, however the cleanliness of the room was not good. The bedsheet seems like it was not change, it has nail cuts and it does not smells good. The towel provided was like a bathroom rags. But if you are looking for a good location and dont mind the cleanliness this guesthouse was good

First of all, the staff very friendly, easy to reach by only with whatsapp if there anything you want to ask or need. Location is very good. Just a few step from myeongdong station & near airport bus stop. Also just a few step to myeongdong street & daiso so you can shopping all you want! The room was clean & many facilities offered in the room. The toilet was acceptable size with non-transparent door like other hotel i used to stay 🙈. If you are malay like me, you will like the fact that the shower can reach toilet seat and easy for you to do your bussiness there 😂😂. Thanks for the pleasant stay and I will come again for sure 😉

> Picture of the rooms is not what it looks like. >The smell is awful (once you enter the room you can smell it right away) > comfort room has a toilet but there is just a shower beside it > The room is very small! As in super small. > We booked for dec. 23, 2019 to dec. 30,2019 BUT WE DID NOT STAY THERE EVEN FOR ONE NIGHT! And WE DID NOT EVEN GET A REFUND FOR IT.

The location is perfect if you want to go shop in myeongdong every night, it is very accessible. The lessor was accommodating from the start, he replies to all your questions and you can ask him to book a taxi for you from the airport to the guesthouse. The rooms were okay if you just want to sleep there at night and leave in the morning, don’t expect it to be pretty like a hotel. They don’t provide breakfast but they have a water dispenser in the lobby where you can get water and instant coffee anytime you want. You can also go home anytime because the lessor leaves the main door open always but don’t worry because every room has a digital lock. You can also leave your luggage in the lobby where the cctv camera is located. Our overall stay was good.

1)This place is a fire hazard. From the entrance to the rooms. There are narrow walkways with things packed against the walls. 2) the flooring is uneven , narrow staircase 3) it looks like the place was subdivided into multiple small units for profit purpose. The room we had was for 4 pax, with beds side by side from wall to wall. There was no space to walk properly and definitely no space to open our luggage. 4) room was not cleaned before we checked in. We found an underwear beneath the bed! 5) washing machine that was provided had unattended/abandoned laundry that was in there during the length of our stay. 6) walls were very very thin. We could hear our neighbors talk and even unpack their shopping! 7) heater provided was not of much use, as it didn’t work well. 8) musty smell in the room; toilet had sewage smell 9) door was hard to close/got stuck, had to push hard in order to ensure it was closed properly

Value for money - No. Why? The room that I booked smelled horrible, the bedsheets, pillows and the bed itself looked disgusting. And u know what, our room window was actually facing inside the house staircase and laundry place. What the hell? The place is hidden and with construction on going in front of the house. The house is very very dirty untidy, no housekeeping, the other guests lurking everywhere at the very small common area and cooking at the same place using microwave so imagine the smell. The host is terrible in answering our questions timely! So he got our money for free without us staying in the horrible room. I wish I can upload the photos I took but there was not button to upload. The house is dirty!!

The room is dirty. Better to rent a hotel a slightly expensive only. difficult to locate the place as well even it is located near to train station.

The location is superb..just within 2-3 minutes walking to myeongdong subway exit 1 & 2..most of the meeting point for tour operator located here..washing machine provided in the room whereby the dryer is located on the ground floor..i would recommend this place for a budget traveller like me with big family (5 kids)..if u arrive early u can put your bag inside n come back later for check in at 3-4pm..

pros - location is very near the Train, bus station, tours meet up, airport bus.. stable wifi cons - no person to guide u, must communicate with the owner via wechat to know the room code passcode. all rooms are electronically coded. no meals provided. bring toiletries and bath towel.

I like this place. it is like a house. it has kitchen and kitchennet and silverware for cook. Also, 20 meter away from myeongdong subway station gate number 1 and 2 and shopping district. Room was not spacious but enough for sleep. other guesthouse has more tiny room in myeongdong. I heard that myeongdong is the most popular and expensive place in Korea. Room is warm and can use hot water 24 house. I connected with whatsapp with owner, he helped tour site and helped book Van at low price. I think it is best place for economic people rather than luxury hotel seeker. I read some bad reviews and had some worries. but it was good in real place. I recommend to other guest to stay who want to experence korean house not luxury hotel.
After use kitchen, must clean it for next guest. and you can use some food ( specially halal ) which left before guest good luck to your business. from myeongdong oppa

- location is fantastic. just few steps away from myeongdong station and airport bus stop - rooms are located ground floor. so good for aged people and children - room is clean. drum washing machine and broom is in the room. - owner is so kinds. he live in here. Even I arrived after 24 hour, he helped to check in - room is warm and I enjoyed hot water - I asked tour site, then he explained all tour place with map. - Price is good for value. hotel ask 2~ 3 times of price for same size of room at same location - I like this place and will come again

Location is excellent. Guesthouse is OK if you are on a budget. Be reasonable with your expectation of the place since the rate is for budget travelers. You should not expect to get a perfect accommodation with what you are paying. Please be reasonable. Owner is OK but not as friendly because of language barrier but is always replying and gives attention to your requests. Place is safe to safekeep/deposit your luggages after check out and you still need to hang around the area for a stroll before you leave for the airport. I would like to suggest 2 important things: 1. Each bedroom be equipped with a big mirror so you get to see yourself while fixing your hair etc. 2. Provide a bath size towel. Thank you!
Every bedroom equipped mirror but not enough size to see whole body There are many Korean standard size towels. if you need, you can use more My English is good, but if you use other language then you need use whatsapp, wechat, line, viber to translate it good luck to you from myeongdong oppa

“正直に思った事書きます。”
当日緊急にホテル探さなければいけない状態になり、明洞駅で待機中に一番近いホテルがここだったので、決めました。 連休で、他のホテルはほとんど埋まってました。 まず場所は分かりにくいですが、明洞駅1番出口から本当に近いですので、その面はとても便利です。 まさかそんなところに道があるとは思わないような、、 お店とお店の間の路地に入ります。 そして、門を入ったらコバエがかなりたくさん飛んでました。 掃除中の店員が来てくれて、その店員さんはとても親切で親身で良い方で、本当はこのような事を書きたくないんですが、、 部屋はかなり辛口になるんですが、まず髪の毛はたくさん落ちてます。 ミスで1本や2本レベルじゃなくて10本以上落ちてました。そして部屋が埃まみれ。テレビ台周りベッドの淵、埃の山でそこにスマホなども置きたくない感じでした。 そして、部屋の中にコバエが飛んでます。 シャワールームも掃除してないと思います。 あと、ベッドなんですがシーツもその都度の洗濯もしておらずブランケットは男性の匂いもしてました。 写真では清潔感の白シーツですが実際は濃い紫色と緑でした。 洗濯で取れるようなシミもありました。 エアコンはかなり効きます。 毎月来てるので色々泊まりますが正面清潔面が衝撃でした。 店員さんは優しく良い方なんですけどね、、 その方が一人で掃除などこなしてるのかな、、？って思いました。 ありがとうございました。
