very far from the city but great distance to the airport. the shuttle service is great! check out is quite early. but the food is amazing. the staff is very kind and friendly. offers breakfast!!! and i like that they also offer excursions. but not much options for lunch if u stay. overall really happy with everything!!!! its worth it!

I would stay here again. The owners and staff are very friendly and do everything they can to make ones stay enjoyable. The. Rooms are with great beds. The gardens are peaceful. I highly recommend Safari Club.

This is a really great convenient location for a brief stopover in Johannesburg between flights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Moyo and Memory who met us at the airport and provided transportation to and from the airport were really delightful and helpful. The grounds are very pretty. Only down side is the surrounding area. It is in a light industrial area. Nothing to do in the immediate area. Perfect for an overnight stay.

A comfortable brief stay . The room was a generous size and immaculately clean, grounds are tidy and well tended, safe and secure behind 2 gates. The complimentary transfers to/ from the airport, which is a short drive away were very much appreciated. Al, the manager is very hands on and on top of things. Would recommend.

This is a fabulous place to stay. The host, Alastair would have to be the most helpful manager I have ever met . Nothing was any problem. I wish that I had had more time to stay at this wonderful little hotel.

Don't have to expect a five star resort but a familiar and warm atmosphere with the basic comfort. The price you pay is absolutely honest.

Lovely setting in gardens 6 mins from Jo'Burg airport. Nice rooms and relaxing atmosphere. BUT: We booked and paid for a family suite but they were given to somebody else. We were provided 2 twin rooms. Nice rooms, comfortable and spacious, except one of the TVs didn't work and the floors were covered in black soot and no towels. One room had bird droppings on the sheets. Internet and wifi, eventhough advertised, is non-existent and the credit card machine is "hit and miss". Staff were aloof, not all that helpful and rarely at reception. We rang for the free pick up from the airport - "the guy is on his way" (remember it's 6 mins away). 1 Hour later he arrived, so not a great start.... Hotel has a dining room and 'honesty bar' in a great spot upstairs. Food from the cook was REALLY good, drinks were well priced and breakfast was plentiful, apart from limited cereals and fruit selection. Recommended as a value option close to OR Tambo (Jo'Burg) Airport provided they fix up the internet and staff issues. Chilled out place, after TIA - This Is Africa .....

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Free airport transfers, and with our very early morning arrival they found us a room to rest in until ours was ready. Lovely grounds and quiet to relax in, despite being in an industrial area just off the end of the airport. Free wi-fi. Comfortable rooms and wonderful hot showers. Comfortable and pleasant "honesty" bar. Very good breakfast and quite acceptable dinner (which you have to pre-order earlier in the day). We stayed a night at the beginning and end of safari and it was ideal for this, though a bit far out of town if you want to go sightseeing. However they will arrange tours for you. Would stay again.

Hadde problemer med å finne lodgen, da google maps viste feil plass ut fra oppgitt adresse.. . Men vi ble fornøyde da vi omsider fant lodgen. Den var i kolonistil omgitt av en fin hage. Romslige rom, god middag og frokost, og hyggelig personale.
I am sorry that you had problems finding our hotel Unfortunately we are not allowed to put a sign up accross the road which will make it much easier to see We will speak to council again Regards Alastair
