Great proximity to Danger Beach. No bar or drinks available on site so bring your own. Our room was decorated nicely but the bathroom needs TLC.

We stayed for a weekend, walking distance from Kalkbay restaurants. Friendly staff, by the beach, great breakfast. Close to a busy road and no aircon, might be a problem if you want a quiet cool room. We loved it

A sweet beachfront property. Danger Beach is right across the street and through a tunnel under the railroad tracks. Beautiful ocean sunrises! Good coffee - the French press in the room was most welcome. And great value for the money. Not modern luxury - the door used a skeleton key, so more like a well-appointed homestay with charm from many decades past. The staff was great!

We booked a king room and got given a queen. We then got transferred to another property, which was brand new and we got a king bed but the room missed a few amenities such as a kettle, coffee and fan.

It was a victorian themed room wiith a lot of space. The staff was friendly and helpfull. Great conversation. You can walk over the street on to the beach with a cafe less than 100 meter from the door. The only con is a lack of kitchen in the rooms. No fridge and microwave. But the view and the food more than makes up it. They also have wifi and a jacuzi with several public lounges. A must stay for any tourist.

Great location across the street from the beach. It was very close to the penguins at Boulders Beach and a much quieter area than the city center of Cape Town. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was very good.

Fantastic room, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great breakfast with continental and cooked options. Good location, near Kalk Bay and opposite the sea. Lovely owners - really chatty and helpful. Had a fantastic stay and would 100% return to stay again.

With an infant in tow, this place was kid friendly with a decent breakfast spread, friendly staff and a comfortable room and bed. Just two mins drive from Kalk Bay center.

Staying at Sonnekus feels like home. From the time of arrival till the time you have to go home the hospitality and the friendliness is so welcoming. The location is so rich with history and lovely walkways and so convenient.

Its like coming home. Being welcomed back every time and the convenience of staying there just to much to do and too little time. Never a dull moment and you cant wait to get back so definitely a holiday to look forward to and our annual treat!!!

Views to die for, Location and convenience was superb. The treatment you receive when staying there is just superb. Feels like you are part of the family when staying there. Always friendly faces and always interesting stories told. COuldn't wish for a better place to stay!!!

“親切なオーナーとアットホームな雰囲気”
オーナー夫婦がとてもフレンドリーで親切で、アットホームな雰囲気でした。フライトが早朝だったため、ゲストハウスのチェックイン時間より早く到着したけど、快く部屋に入って休めるようにしてくれました。部屋もおしゃれで、窓から日の出や海が見えました。海と道路と線路が近いせいか、少しうるさい気もしましたが、寝る頃にはそんなに気にならないくらいでした。朝食はフルーツ、シリアル、パン、チーズ、サラダ、オーナーの奥さんが作ってくれる卵料理など、朝から満腹で、昼を抜いても平気なくらいでした。もしまたケープタウンに行くことがあれば、ここを利用したいです。
