A really great location for our first trip to Vieques. Walkable to all the restaurants in Esperanza. The roosters are very noisy but that's the case all over the island-keep your air conditioner on to block out the sound in the morning!

Almost perfect ! The room was more lovely and bigger than I imagined so we could get relax time. But if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, I don't think here is a right choice, because there was too much noise from outside(loud music of local inhabitants at daytime, creasy screaming of roosters at night...).

The hosts were so friendly and nice! Rugged tropical getaway, a real place to unplug and swim in the most beautiful water. The National Wildlife Refuge on the north end is completely secluded and stunning! Cons: the bed is like a rock and the towns roosters … lots of chickens here people!! Most of them roosters that crow starting at 2 am and don’t stop!! Bring your ear plugs!! Rent the scooter or a golf cart to see this tiny beautiful island, it’s worth the ferry ride from Cieba . We will be back!

“avoid this hotel”
close to the beach but otherwise is sad disrepair and horribly unkempt. roaches noted on our hotel room floor and in the pool bathroom. mildew smell in the room. the area near the pool which i guess used to be a outdoor bar/kitchen was full of old dirty utensils and knives and garbage laying out. wish we had chosen another location.
