Staff was very nice and helpful. Beautiful place, but a little far from town... though that's not a huge deal. Owner is awesome and helpful. The negative is the food. Very limited menu and not very good.

I have stayed at 8 different locations in the Philippines during the past 60 days. This place was the worst that I experienced. The resort, and I used a word resort loosely was very run down. I paid for a superior room that was supposed to have a kitchen yet There were no plates, cups, utensils or anything to cook or eat with. There was a stove but I'm not sure if it worked or not. The room was very dated with nothing matching. The food at the restaurant was adequate at best. On the day we left there were no other gassed yet service was nowhere to be found. The resort does not accept credit cards and they did not have change for 1000 peso bills. There are other resorts in Dauin that are much better.

the hotel was clean and staff friendly, it was a little far out of town but not to much hassle to get public transport to Dumaguete

“Not very nice”

Rats visited room at night and chewed our belongings. Weeds all around the pool to lack of interest and maintenance by staff. Jacuzzi not working and seems no effort to get it fixed. Poor customer service and this place seems to be going downhill due to lack of pride in the Resort by Management and Staff. Better places nearby for sure.

Wardrobe door came off when opened and 2 large screws stick out of wardrobe door. A hot water kettle supplied on 3rd day. Only used as a recreational area when hot. Stayed overnight once and the rest at family home.

“Ok place”

Staff on arrival very casual, but polite and helpfull if asked. Lucky near road so can get trike or jeepnee to Robinsons about 20 minutes away for foods and water. In town a Chinese restaurant & great coffee shop. Pool was ok, but resort more for divers beach is dirt not sand. Quiet apart from morning rooster.

“Beach View ”

We took the advice to request one of the non aircon rooms nearest the water. We were not disappointed. Great to go to sleep and wake up the sounds of the ocean. The staff helped us organize a motorcycle rental, lots of fun to explore the area.

I had 7 nights here. It's far away from the downtown but its'good location if you a diver. Staff are friendly, the swimming pool is not very big but maintained well. Food: not much selection but tastes ok, acceptable. Room&cleaness: basic. PS: there's a dive shop in this resort but they only accept korean. They got all set up table and food stuff so we have to move to a corner for breakfast/lunch which is kind of annoying. Overall it's reasonable price for the stay.

“Nice friendly staff”

OK. The staff is great. The owner is too lazy or cheap to provide a small coffee maker. If you want brewed coffee, forget this place.

“Not. Enough value for money”

Staff was friendly and willing to help with everything. Food was partially cold when reaching our appartment, facility a bit run down. No real seabird, bungalow was at front but resort building blocked seaview. Transportation to dumaguete not easy and way to expensive to use resort transportation.

It was fine. The beach is not that good but food was great. A little expensive for the type of rooms.

The kitchen was ok and the pool was nice. Our room was a bit far from the beach and the restaurant is not fully complete.

It was Ok. Actually i expected a lot because of the price but in fact it was a bit expensive for the place.

“Drop in quality for low season?”

We have visited this resort in April (high season) this year and it looked good so we decided to stay here for the weekend. However, we were disappointed with the state of the resort (pool not clean, jacuzzi empty, need to ask twice for items).Maybe this is because we are at the start of the low season, but still not an acceptable excuse. I would only give this resort a 2 to 2.5 star rating (if the above things are addressed).

“Terrible and Infested with Insects”

We had a terrible time at this resort which has a really dirty beach as well as rooms that had only been surface cleaned. Cobwebs, dirt, and insects were everywhere, despite their repeated attempts to spray "baygon". The wooden poles are actually infested and when we pointed out the swirling bugs their solution was to put electrical tape on the holes- this was good for about 10 minutes as the bugs broke free soon enough. Our biggest disappointment is that the pictures for this resort are really a "marketing lie". It is impossible to do any swimming or snorkeling in these really dirty waters. Nor would you want to. The rooms are not resort standard by any means, especially not at the prices they are charging. When other day (vs overnight) guests are there, they blast their music in the huts and it reverberates throughout the place. Lastly, the agoda discounted price for a standard room turned out to be the price of their superior room if you book directly. Felt supremely ripped off despite being able to switch to a superior room after our complaint with the promise we would not use the airconditioning.
