Quaint, spacious, Immaculate, and such a joy to stay here. Thoughtful owners who left fresh fruit, bread, free range eggs, basic cooking requirements, and everything needed for a most enjoyable stay. The bed was SO comfortable. We loved the decor!!! Would definitely stay again.

What a lovely peaceful corner of Westland. Pleasant walks great birdlife. Make sure you are well prepared with food. Will come back for a longer stay..

This is an out of the way accommodation. Recommend going to Franz Josef first and getting food or have a meal as there is no food in Okarito. That said, the cabin is modern with a rustic decor, large and full of everything you need. It has the most comfortable bed in 10+ hotels in New Zealand that we stayed at. Despite the isolation of Okarito, it also had the fastest Internet connection! Bonus plus, 1 minute away s miles of beach to walk on. Breakfast included ingredients to whip up an omelet with cereal, toast, juices and yogurt.
