I love to stay here. This is my second time Breakfast is not buffet but quiet good. Hotel is quiet and very pleasant to stay. So many trees and shady and beautiful. The staffs are also very friendly and ready to help. But only thing was hot water run out while showering. As Kalaw is very cold, that was bad experience.

We enjoyed the beautiful landscape from our bungalow apartment. The MG Inn is a 15 minute walk away from the Main Street where all the busses arrive and depart as well as a 5 minute walk from the train station. Away from the busy Kalaw main road you will be sure to have a good night’s sleep. The breakfast room is cold in the morning but there is a cozy fire place - we arrived early at 7 am and were assigned a table right next to the fire. They do not have a buffet but serve a variety of freshly prepared eggs, toast, fruit as well as coffee and tea.

The staff does everything to make your stay comfortably. Even if we arrived at an unexpected time they arranged everything that we could get our room quickly. The location is in the middle of a beautiful decorated garden. Breakfast is extraordinary rich.

From the actually planned 3 we stayed 8! The hotel is just outstanding. Every day the rooms were cleaned (including all clothes together, etc.) every day fresh water in the room. The breakfast is outstanding (pancakes, toast, honey jam, eggs, yogurt, juice, etc, etc ... The staff is super friendly and helped us with everything no matter whether flight booking, ginger tea for my cold girlfriend, trips, tours, Food, massages. Actually, I never want to go away :) the rooms are super idyllic a bit out of town in the green. From the terrace of the bungalow you have a great view of the landscape.

Morning Glory is a great place. Set in a pretty garden and just a 15 minute walk into town. There's a free shuttle service should this be too much of a leg stretch. The rooms a kept spotlessly and the breakfast is excellent. We extended our stay, we enjoyed it so much.

Family run hotel, 10 min walking outside town, cottages in garden with view across the valley, amazingly elaborate breakfast, friendly staff.

The staff was lovely and very kind. We asked to do an early check in, cause we arrived at 5 AM to Kalaw, and they gave us a room when we arrived without charging extra. Each time we wanted to go to the center (10 minutes walking), the owner gave us a ride. The breakfast was wonderful and varied!

Staffs are helpful. Owner is friendly and helpful. Pleasant and peaceful place. Simple breakfast but delicious. Clean room. No television but it is fine as we want to stay away from screen during trip. Recommend!

I apologize for the problem (on no television) that you encountered during your last stay. All our rooms are equipped with flat- screen satellite TVs but sometime the system error can be occurs. Unfortunately we had not been informed that or we could fix it straight away. On your next visit you will come to find that the clean rooms, warm staff, cool location and delicious breakfast are always things that you can come to expect whenever staying with us. I was at Morning Glory for a week and I loved it. It is away from the busyness of the town centre, yet close enough to walk there if you want a nice meal or do some shopping. There are also many nice walking trails around the hotel where you can enjoy nature and the fresh air. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortably-furnished. Last but not least, the staff are excellent. They really go the extra mile to make sure you have a comfortable stay. I'll definitely come again ;o)

In the walking distance of Kalaw center. Green and peaceful location. Good, versatile breakfast. They can arrange for you trips with their own car. You can eat in the breakfast-/dining room food made in the local restaurant. I would come here again.

It has a very relaxing atmosphere and nice surrounding. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Once they know you want to check-out, quickly they come and assist to carry our luggage. Bad point is it location far from town.

Beautiful grounds and bungalows. Unfortunately we did not get the double bed we'd booked and had to put two singles together. The breakfast was great. Unfortunately the staff spoke limited English but were lovely. No wifi.

This hotel is located in the peaceful and green district, just 15 min's walk from the Kalaw center. The hotel is managed by the family. There is a free shuttle bus to the center every day at 17.30. They can organise trips to Inle Lake and elsewhere. Everything was perfect during our stay. We'll come here also on the next time.

Staffs are friendly and owner is very heloful too. Breskfast is not buffet style but they serve what you want to eat. Room is very clean and separate pantry area. The place is very cute, quiet and peaceful but walking distance to kalaw market and railway station. For sure, i will recommend my frds.

Arrived from bagan via bus and walked the 1.5km from the town to the inn fairly easily but slightly sweaty. The contrast between the busy town and this peaceful spot is great and worth the short walk, or slightly expensive taxis. The views from the inn are great and what I expected from this mountain town. The rooms do not have air con but this was not a problem as the temperature dropped to a nice sleeping temperature at night (in November). Nothing special about the rooms, they're basic but comfortable. The staff are really friendly and nice. The breakfasts are awesome. Especially when you get pancakes, fresh pineapple and fresh avacados from the trees on the property, there was too much good food for us to us to eat! The WiFi is slow and only available in the reception, but we were happy to use this retreat to get away from the likes of WiFi. I have been lead to believe that the WiFi is bad all over kalaw!

A bit far from center and all day speakers from town and the mountain with religious noise. Sad. Can be a peaceful spot. However not the owners to blaim ofcourse. Not much to do in kalaw.

“Lovely people, stellar views”
I loved Morning Glory Inn! I wanted somewhere that was a respite, and I certainly got it. Sitting on the porch overlooking the garden view to the mountains was EVERYTHING I hoped. The only reason I gave 4 stars for cleanliness was that my room wasn’t cleaned for the first couple of days; but then it was cleaned every day after that’s maybe a miscommunication, but I know that if I’d asked, it would’ve been seen to right away! The staff were all so friendly and generous. I didn’t realize until the 3rd day or so that they really do offer motorbike rides to where you want to go in town *totally free*! Now THAT’S amazing. If you’re looking for something tranquil just outside of town—not a fancy room but a spectacular view—and at a very good price (BIG breakfast included), I highly recommend this place!
