ガリア ホテル (Gallia Hotel)

“客室がカビ臭く、客室、浴室共に不衛生。メンテナンスを全くしてない。”

6月29日(土曜)と30日(日曜)の2泊予定だったが、あまりのカビ臭さ、汚さと不衛生さ、部屋のメンテ状態に耐えられず部屋のチェンジを依頼したが変更出来ず、翌日は急遽自分で別のホテルを手配してホテルを変えた。倉庫に使用する様なビニールタグに手書きで402と書いてある鍵を渡された時には目を疑った。室内の壁紙は至るところ剥がれ、浴室の天井は垂れ下がり、清掃状態が悪く不衛生、カビ臭く、客室ドアの内側の鍵横の木部は欠落しており、枕元の壁のブラケットは緑色の配線用コードでぶら下がり防止している有様だった。14年も海外生活して観光やビジネスで多くのホテルを使ったが、とても四つ星ホテルと思ない。翌日のキャンセルの返金を申し込んだが、 自分達では、返金出来ない、旅行エージェントに言え、と 冷たい態度だった。ホテルの格付けや 御社のホテル査定に疑問を持つと共に、御社からの連絡を待つ次第です。

“駅チカの便利なホテル”

今回２泊しました。初ローマでしたが滞在中スタッフが３名変わりましたが、一人だけ全く愛想がなかったのですが他の２名は大変明るく愛想も良かったです。部屋は大人３名子供１名が楽に泊まれるスペースを一人で利用しました。ホテルが古いせいで、ドアの鍵があまりうまく回らなかったこと、セーフティボックスが壊れていたことが残念ですが、料金はリーズナブルでした。朝食は観光を優先したため、利用しなかったことが残念です。

◾️GOOD POINT ・朝食は屋上バルコニーで食べられるのでいい！ ・近くにYelpで有名なピザ屋がある。夕食はテイクアウトがオススメ。 ・ホテルの場所がわかりやすい ・スパークリングワインのミニボトルがサービスだった(部屋種類によっては無いかも) ◾️BAD POINT ・無線LANが弱い。動画関係はキツイが、普通のネットは問題ない。 ・ホテル設定価格は安いが四つ星ホテルクラスになっているので、宿泊税が高い ・設備が古いが、周りもこんなもんだと思う ・鍵がアナログなので、最初慣れるまで手間取る ・受付時にパスポートコピーのため、10分ぐらい預かりになるので、やや不信感を持つ ・テルミニ駅から7-10分ぐらい歩く ◾️OTHERS POINT ・トリップアドバイザーで意図的に悪い写真が上がっているけど、そんなことは無かった ・部屋によって当たり外れはあるし、ローマの建物は古いので、設備やデザインが古い点は割り切りが必要

“許容”

屋上からの美しい眺めを見ながらの食事は、とても良い思い出になりました。しかし、水の出が悪く、せっかくのバスタブ付きでも時間がかかりシャワーも古く大変でした。三泊しましたが、掃除が行き届いていないしバスタオルも古く残念。

we are satisfy this property , it's very near for but , metro , high speed train station , only walking distance for 500 meter only it's also centre for famour monument of rome .

“Back to the Future ?”

This is like a blast from the past like being in a 30's film . Great place have stayed there twice and for the right price I will again , next May .

If you are looking for a hotel that is near Roma Termini station (8 mins walk), and near to historical sites at an affordable price— then look no further! This hotel has a rooftop view of centuries old Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica domes and panoramic view of the city from there. I would suggest booking an upper floor. The rooms are spacious and has that European appeal to it. Ensuite bathroom, which is great. Walkable distance to The Colosseum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, etc. Lastly, worth mentioning is that we had a very early morning train to catch at Roma Termini at 5:30 AM the following day, I asked if I could have them in take away boxes prepared in advance. The following morning at 5 AM, it was ready for pick-up. Now, that was really impressive! Made my life easier! Very happy customer indeed. Thanks, Hotel Gallia!

“Good location, not the best hotel”

Location is walking distance from colosseum so that is great, however some of the staff seem rude (especially the ones at night), and not helpful. Wifi does not work. It only works in the hallways, or in the lobby, but does not work in the rooms itself. Overall, an ok experience, but if i ever go to Rome again, I’d pick a nicer hotel with more amenities for customers, such as a better wifi and a gym.

“wonderfull”

the location of the hotel is very good, close to colloseum, majore church and termini station... the room is big but everything inside is really old and some of the things needs replacement and cleaning, but its still a good and decent room.. breakfast is good(compared to other hotels in the same level wherein i have been).. if you are looking for a place to stay near the colloseum, and close to the metro station, i would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Good value, located near central stations”

A hotel with spacious clean room (triple). The breakfast was good. It has advantage because it is located near stations and bus fermata, also many tourism spots nearby. The staff was friendly.

“Reception staff not helpful.”

I stayed here for three nights. The TV wasn't working nor did I have a safety deposit box on arrival, when I booked the hotel I paid to have both. I went to the reception on three separate occasions on each occasion I was told the it would be sorted and it never was.

“Clean & Comfortable”

The hotel is well situated being close to the terminus to take you across Rome. The hotel itself is in need of refurbishment but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly. We stayed 4 nights and overall it was very satisfactory.

It was ok, compared to other hotels in Rome... The roof top was closed for the season, no breakfast served there during our stay. Very bad restaurants in the area. Location was really good, 5-10 minutes walk to Coloseum.

Small dark room, no fridge, tea/coffee facility. Comfortable clean bed and good wifi. Breakfast basic tea, coffee, 2meats, cheese croissant (no fruit) cereal. Okay for price. The manager is proud of the hotel and it's history, he smiles when speaking of it.

Rooms seem to be exacly as they were 30 years ago. That would be enough for giving them just 2 stars. But what suprised me the most, in a negative way, was the staff performance. I had to ask twice for an extra bed sheet (I needed two twin beds, which I had to separate myself). The TV was broken the first night. One of the guys of the reception used to stay smoking outside and looked bothered to have to come in to give us the keys. When I asked for a manager, I found out that there is no manager at the place. They said I should send an e-mail with my complaints. I did it and got no answer. It seems they are very confidend that there will always be tons of tourists there, so they just don't care. Finally, the surroundings were dark and dirty. Definitely, stay away from this terrible place.

“Good price for the location”

The hotel's location was brilliant. The room size and breakfast was good. We never had breakfast on the roof as it was not available which was disappointing. The staff were rather unfriendly and unhelpful. But then we found this to be the case with most restaurant staff in Italy. The hop on/off bus stop was just around the corner but to get on you would need to go to the station which is only 10 minutes walk away. This is because ours was the second stop and the bus was always full. All in all this hotel was a good price for its location.
