Feels like a 3-star hotel (a bit run down; dark, fixtures loose in bathroom; slightly banged up and dirty; staff without charm and more or less indifferent). Location is fantastic.

I really enjoyed being right in the centre, very close to the shops and the Metro. I didn’t get to check out the roof top bar at all, unfortunately. But overall a very good experience, very friendly staff and very clean rooms.

Location, location, location!!! It's right at the hot spot. We upgraded our room and it has a large window and we could even see the "Lucky Bull" spot in the galleria from our room! Just amenities, there's no complementary bottles of water, nor kettle/coffee maker. It's seemingly not a biggie, but I realized that not having them in your room is not nice. I didn't even check if they have them or not when I booked, since I never stayed any hotels that don't have them. Breakfast was included, but its understandable. We did't get served for a long time so we didn't even bother ordering hot meals, just grabbed whatever on the tables and left. We didn't go back there in the next morning, since the resto was in the basement and my husband hated to be there first thing in the morning. I'm not sure how this hotel got a 5-stars, but I was overall happy staying here for the location and the price. For the price tag on Agoda, this hotel is worth staying. Just bring a bottle of water with you to avoid to waste your 5euro for it.

The restaurant Le Noir is actually located on the first floor (above the reception), and its "Total black" style sometimes gives you the wrong impression of being underground. the staff were very helpful, BUT, upon checking in around 12:30, the lady said the room was not ready, and proceeded to convince me to upgrade to a bigger room for 100 euros more. When I declined, magically, the room that I had previously booked, turned out to be ready after all. Nice try...

At the time you declined the new room, our executive housekeeper informed us that your first room was ready so we were able to give it to you for free even long before check-in time which is 14.00, which is called early check-in. Have stayed here before. Loaction (despite the work going on in the adjacent streets which we were not told about before arriving) is super. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms original and unique. Will definitely be back. SC

Fantastic location but could do more in terms of personalised service normally received for the rating and the price. Great for first time visitors to Milan or those in transit who want to be in the middle of the shopping district.

We enjoyed The Gray for the stop-over hotel prior to a week skiing in the alps. The staff were very professional and provided excellent service. The hotel is literally a stones throw from the Duomo, so couldn't be in a better location. My only issue with the location is that it is in a traffic restricted zone, and I would have expected the staff to tell me this when I asked for a parking space. I only found out when a £200 parking fine was taken off my credit card 2 months later.

As mentioned, the location was perfect (1 minute to reach the duomo) but the hotel wasn’t very comfortable (Very small boutique hotel and very very small rooms)

The room is nicely designed and spotless. It is centrally located and right next to the Duomo. Major shopping area is 5 mins away so you can put all your stuff back to the hotel before you go out and buy more.

The hotel is located at the city center just beside the glariea and the dymo which is the city center Hotel prices are too expensive

“快適な滞在だったのに残念”
DUOMOに近く、ブレラにもモンテナポレオーネにも徒歩圏内の便利な立地、ホテルはSLHでモダンな内装、こじんまりしていて落ち着きました。 滞在中のレストラン予約やフライトのリコンファームなどあれこれお願いしましたが、完璧にサポートしていただきました。 残念だったのが、出発の日に突然お湯がでなくなり、湯船にもつかれず、シャワーもぬるくて風邪ひきそうになりました。もちろんすぐにスタッフに連絡し不具合解消をお願いしたのですがなおらず。友人の部屋は問題なかったようなので、私の部屋の配管の問題と思われます。冬はつらいですね。 冬だったからバスタブ付きのリッチな部屋を選択しただけに残念でした。
