“Got changed to Dan Panorama Jerusalem due to management change”

We received an email a few days before our check-in, saying that due to management decision, the hotel was closed during our days of stay, and we’re asked if we would like to change to Dan Panorama Jerusalem with no extra charge. We accepted the change, so we can’t comment of Dan Boutique Jerusalem. Dan Panorama Jerusalem got a great location, around 15 min walk to Ben Yehuda Street and just a few min drive to the old city. At reception, Oted and Omar were really friendly and they also us one free access to the business lounge! However, we didn’t get any bottled water refill except for the first day at check-in. We asked at reception and they said water is only free for first night, which is quite ridiculous (even the worst hotels I had ever stayed for water refilled everyday after room makeup ).

“Lovely and homey”

In 4 weeks of travel, 4 countries. 8 hotels, I feel most at home here— part of it is the lovely room, some of it is the warmth of the staff. The location is awesome. Unbeatable value! Great spot.

“A cmplete dissapointment. and afraudulant behavior.”

The rooms are old and difficult to clean due to the carpeted floor. The front desk were not nice and charged us more than the 17% VAT they were supposed. when we argued that the VAT is paid based on the price of the deal and not the "original" value of the room they told us we can take it or leave it... Never again.

“Close to old city”

I was happy with th hotel, it met my requirements, my only issue was no lunch served on Shabbat (Saturday)

“Great value close to main part of city”

This is a very comfortable hotel a bit outside center city which explains the reasonable pricing. There are good beds and a decent, not lavish breakfast. This was our 3rd stay there, which means something!

“Nothing great”

The hotel is very dated and the staff are slow with service being quite rude especially at breakfast. The staff also are not the most helpful at the front desk and had very little suggestions when we asked for advice. The rooms are old fashioned and we did not have out water bottles replenished everyday. The location is ok as it is easy to walk everywhere but it's nothing amazing.

“Free car park and friendly staff”

Hotel is fair, value to its money, free car park. Next to First Station, the place with nice restaurants that we ate the best breakfast in the trip, they also have events and you can check their website ahead. Walk 30mins to Jaff Gate the Jerusalem old city, must go if you visit Israel.

“Wonderful stay at Dan Boutique Hotel Jerusalem. ”

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. However. We have one complain, we booked the shuttle to The airport through the hotel, and was charged twice the amount that everyone else was paying as they got off the shuttle.

Just great hotel in great location - 2min walk to rail station with lots of good food/drink options and supermarket. Clean and modern rooms. Can't ask for more.

“Very nice hotel close to the Old City”

I stayed at this hotel for a combination of business and sightseeing. It is close to central Jerusalem and the Old City as well as being within easy walking distance of many other sights and a light rail station. Traffic is bad, but that would be true for any hotel near the Old City. I had a top-floor room overlooking the Old City. Room facilities were top-notch. High-quality toiletries and towels, windows that can be opened, quiet air conditioning, comfortable bed, in-room safe, refrigerator. Breakfast was included and consisted of a wide range of choices. Don't expect meat, however fish was available.

The stay of the hotel was surely one of our memories. The hotel seemed still in newly renovated and the guest room was well decorated. We were so impressive with the buffet breakfast which has so many choices, would not forget to give much thanks to the hotel staff for their services.

“Barely acceptable”

Poor Maintenance problem - Toilet seat could not be kept up and nobody was available to fix it. Service at bar restaurant was almost non existent. Took 15 minutes to get a menu after requesting one several times and another 15 minutes to take our order. When the food finally came, it was good.

Excellent stay. I was in Jerusalem for a conference and so the internet worked very well in the lobby and bar area. Business centre had a printer I could print a couple of my documents which was great too. The room was extremely spacious and I was given a room with a balcony - absolutely superb as I was able to sunbathe whilst preparing for my business meeting - ideal! Some of the staff were a little too "over-friendly" and offered to take me to Bethlehem (which is in Palestine) out of hours, on their own, not through the hotel and at a "cheaper rate than the tour companies", and I did not like this at all. It did not feel appropriate/safe what so ever. Other than this - my stay was perfect for what I needed it for.

Our stay was great, the room is warm and nice, the bathroom was a bit small. the staff were very attentive, and the breakfast was great.
