Wonderful location right in the heart of town. Staff were brilliant and friendly in all areas of the venue. Reception and check in were friendly. Food in the restaurant was great and the staff were very attentive to all of our needs including dietary requirements! (GF) Will definitely book here again!

Exceptional hotel from day one from greeting at the reception till the checking out. Beds are so comfortable. The view from the hotel room is unreal and the balcony is just extra. Breakfast delicious and very good portions and freshly cooked. Highly recommend it. And definitely come back . Everyone so so friendly .

We knew when we booked it that the refurb was underway and might be a bit tight on timescales. As we were early, we dropped off bags in reception and were directed to the Pier Bar below where we had a decent coffee. Checking in was cool, the gorgeous Loretta looking after us. Wandering through electrians and cables, we got to our room. Breathtaking. Crisp linen, clean and fresh decor. Intelligent door system. Door onto the balcony with harbour view. Seals were even provided between the piers! The daytime building noise didn't disturb us very much as they raced to be ready for St Patrick 😁 Only gripes would be teething troubles. Shower needs a non-slip mat. It's lethal. Music in the Pier Bar should be more subtle. Less leprechaun, more cool. Think Steely Dan on repeat. Or maybe Paul Brady? The door to the balcony also fouls the curtains, so a rethink is needed there. I summary, this is one of the best hotel rooms and experiences I have had. And I'm old 🤓 Irish Mike

Stayed here many times, even during the current refurb, but this time it was a bit too dusty and untidy, bedroom is partially refurbished but not decorated, i understand trying to keep the hotel open to generate an income but it is actually a building site now, hopefully its fully complete for my return next year, looks like its going to be amazing when fully finished.

The hotel was undergoing a renovation when we stayed but it had little impact on our stay. The staff were very pleasant especially the lady in reception who looked after our every need. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was also very tasty and food plentiful. I'd stay again 👍

This is a great little hotel with fantastic staff. Everything was spotlessly clean for an older hotel. Great breakfast and dinner/lunch and a full bar with views over the fishing boats. It’s a compact little town but with other options for dining too. Well worth a visit.

Very central location in Killybegs, walking distance to pubs, restaurants, pharmacy and shops. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was made to order and lovely. Thanks again!

We had a room facing the harbor with 2 beds, a sliding door that overlooked the harbor and that included a small table and 2 chairs. During the day there were everchanging views of the fishing vessels prepping for leaving, and at night all sorts of lights reflecting off the water. The food was excellent, especially their seafood platter. Hiking at Slieve League (please go there, much much better than the Cliffs of Moher) is close by. If we are in the area again, this is where we will stay.

Great location in Killybegs. We had a seaview room on the first floor which also gave us access to a patio with a spectacular view of the harbor. Wonderful staff as well

Hotel would be fantasic location if you had business work to do with the fishing industry. The hotel is situated in good starting point to do a loop tour of some very scenic landscape, either by car, bike or walking. Rooms were comfortable, clean and tidy the breakfast was of poor " Full Irish Breakfast" standards but if you knew no better you may think it fair. Cost of hotel, overpriced.

from the moment we arrived the service was excellent, checked in by loretto & upgraded , the food was very good from dinner to breakfast, the bar tender jo was very welcoming & at checkout erin was smiling, could not have been better. sincerely, charlie & lelia colfer.

Stayed here many years ago and it has had a new owner who has given it a complete make over very pleasant atmosphere a lot has been invested and it shows staff are lovely especially the girl who served us at breakfast my veggie breakfast was spot on so 5 stars we will stay again
