“テンプルバーそば‼️ ”

１階にバーがあり、名物ステーキと、ここだけでも楽しめます。

“狭い、汚い、古い、煩い、でも、不思議と、馴染める。”

お酒と音楽で賑やかなお店が集積するエリアの、大通り沿いです。やかましいのは当たり前。ロケーションは最高です。飲んで、部屋で休んで、また飲んで、また休んで、観光して、休んで、仕事して、というようなはちゃめちゃな動きを支えてくれる基地になります。が、部屋はよくありません。近くに同じような価格帯でもっと良さそうなホテルがあったので、次回はそちらにしてみます。が、このホテル、不思議と休まりました。おすすめして良いのかどうかわからなくなるようなホテルです。

“立地が良かったです”

４泊の滞在でオプションを利用するので集合場所に比較的近いホテルを探していました。 部屋は広くはないですが、清潔にしてありバスタブもありました！ 小さな子連れだったので、時差もあり食事を持参した部屋で温めたりしたかったのでケトルがあり便利でした。 少し歩くと市内のメイン観光はできるし、お店も多く立地的に良かったです。

The closest we have ever stayed to Temple Bar. Staff were incredible to us, arrived and our room was showing as a twin and the next morning they changed us to a huge double. Lovely bar downstairs. 10/10 for everything! Thank you for such an amazing stay!

“Temple Bar Historic Stay”

It’s giving Dublin classic stay— full of charm and coziness. Would have loved a little bit of a toiletry bar but otherwise the room was great for passing through Dublin at the end of my trip. There is street noise but that is part of the location. Pub on site with nice live music and walkable to all the local sights. An easy and convenient stay.

Right at the heart of City Centre, even catching a bus (Route 16) to Dublin Airport is 100 meters away from the airport. Unfortunately the hotel lacks basic amenities unless you're here for a short stay then this would be ideal hotel.

but it seems to be hard to find up this hotel. next to a very busy pub. the door is narrow. this picture doesn't show the truth, there are tables for eaters on the road.

“small room, TINY shower”

Room was small but clean with comfy bed. Luckily we are not overweight or we would not have fit into the shower!! We knew location would be somewhat noisy but the windows let in a lot of sound. It seemed that someone was bowling with beer kegs in the alley every (early) morning! Staff were friendly, some more helpful than others; they carried our bags up the many stairs to our room when we checked in since the lift was not working.

I think this is an excellent hotel and a great value for the money, but it's important to understand what you're getting into before you book. Please note that I think this is 5 stars for the money and obviously not a true 5 star hotel (e.g. the Ritz, etc). One of the things that makes this such a great hotel is the location. It is within easy walking distance of almost every major tourist attraction in Dublin, located a few blocks from Trinity College in the Temple Bar district. The airport express stops just a block away and most bus lines stop within a block of the hotel, so it's really easy to get to the few things that are further away (e.g. Kilmainham Gaol is 2mi from the hotel). The location is the primary reason I chose this hotel because I wanted to be able to walk everywhere and not be far from home when going to the pub at night. That being said - being in the middle of the bar district makes this hotel VERY LOUD, especially on the weekend. If you need absolute silence to sleep, this is not the hotel for you. I stayed recently on a Friday-Tuesday, so I speak from experience that Friday and Saturday nights are very loud. I had a room on the 1st floor that faced the street, so I'm pretty sure I had the loudest room in the hotel. However, the complimentary ear plugs work exceptionally well, and I had no issues with the noise. Everything else about the hotel was great. I had a double room, and my shower/bathroom was great. Plenty of space. The staff was really nice and made it easy for us to check in (we arrived close to midnight).

Hotel is above live music bar, however had no problems sleeping. Great price and location.

This is a pub. It's in the Temple Bar area so before booking, you know what you are in for. It's comfy, cheery but of course noisy, because it's a pub that plays music. If you like that, you'll love this place. If you don't like that, don't stay here and then complain!

Dublin Citi Hotel is positioned in a great area, on Dame Street, around the corner from Temple Bar and a short walk to the Castle, Wax Museum and other significant buildings. The noise from the downstairs pub was rather distracting late at night, although, being in a room with two single beds, I found that the noise was lessed when lying in the bed further from the window. Staff were friendly and helpful; however, having to get their attention to buzz me into the hotel was a bit irritating... sometimes when noone was at the desk it took a while for anyone to come.
