I really can't rave about this hotel, but it's certainly a good place for very specific needs.. It is a really small hotel with a lot of "wow" factor. in the decor. I'd hate to be here when it's fully occupied because the two pools are really just plunge pools and there is not a sense of space in the courtyard/pool area. You'd be tripping over each other to get to your room. Just one guest blabbing to her boyfriend in the pool was as annoying as if she were in my room next to me. HOWEVER, staying here in the low season (September) meant that there was low occupancy and usually a lot of quiet. Yes, it's on its own little alley (two cars and a motorbike could park outside hotel wall, but there is no dedicated parking). That makes it quiet, despite proximity to Baruna Beach (4 minute walk past beauty salons, restaurants, big hotels). But the alley became a flooded, litter strewn eyesore with construction debris and a very nasty dog at the private villa next door. The Standard room is gorgeous, with tasteful decor and dark woods and marble bathroom, but needs maintenance: the closet door handle was broken, the bathtub drain was broken, and the in-room torch had dead batteries. Now the staff was very good about fixing the flooded pool decks after an overnight rain storm, and they really were wonderful, sweet guys. But for the week we were there, there was no handyman for the door handle and the tub drain.Most days, the floor was not adequately swept and so we would put our used towels on the floor to kind of keep that dirt-underfoot feeling from getting us down (and we kept our shoes outside), but the staff alway seemed to pick up our filthy towels and put them neatly folded back on our racks. This place has 4 units and the top suite has a tub open to the sky, but our Standard room had no private balcony and there was no place to dry our bathing suits outside the room. Only one room with decks had actual furtniture there, and it was a skimpy little Roman

“Birthday Trip in Bali”
The villa has a very great location, clean and well maintained, very quiet and relaxing, near the mall, Waterbom Bali and restaurants. The only downside is that they offer limited food choices. We ate bacon for breakfast for 3 straight days.
