Overall a good experience, staff behavior is also good. Completely green all around and rooms are also very clean. Only negative thing was no beach view from the hotel. Beach are very near from hotel, hardly 2-3 minutes walks. If you are not very keen to beach view resort. Then it's very highly recommend

I really like this place like my home, every time i vist in varkala i only stay in green garden . Mostly rooms and bathroom are hygienic, the staff are very helpful and very kind, I feel like ah another home . Thanku so my to treat me very good, I am so happy with this place

We spent there some days during the breaking of 2016/2017. + The location is good right in the touristic bubble, pretty near the main Varkala beach, restaurants, and many touristic shops. + The young member of staff was nice and helpful. - We made a booking and payment in advance via Agoda and chose a deluxe room. When we arrived and the room was given to us we were really disappointed. That room had nothing to do with deluxe one. It was a simple standard room. There was only a king bed, dirty mosquito net, an old rusty schoo ldesk and something like a cupboard with a broken lock. To be honest the room was only a bit more spacious and was clean in the Indian standard. When we made the complaint that that room was no deluxe one but only standard one a member of the staff started making excuses saying those problems were made by Agoda and Airbnb and going on with: we have nothing with this mistake. Thus, we asked for cancellation and getting back our money. He was getting ruder and ruder and rejected this solution. He also rejected to show us the other rooms apart from those rooms with a balcony which were also deluxe but obviously, more expensive. We could only stay in that room or make an additional payment for the more expensive room with the balcony or leave without any compensation. After asking the guy for apologies for causing the mistake he said with a scorn: "if you want, sorry"... but he didn't feel any sorry because as he said "he is a man..". - The room was situated in the busiest part of the guest house. There was a terrace or a porch with sitting facilities to relax outside the room where masseuses (or other staff) sat, had a chat and waited for their customers. Therefore, this part of the property was very often occupied with only little privacy for the guests. - There was a kitchen attached to the wall of the bathroom of our room and noise from the kitchen was heard in the room especially in the morning. All in all, that could be quit
