Trust me, standards in terms of service is not in the dictionary of this hotel. We checked in and found the room is stinky, fused lights, torn and spotted bedsheets nicely hidden under blanket. When we reported , we were told those are emergency lights and supposed to only switch on in event of emergency. Such a lie. When I forced, they took me to another room and we found it's non-emergency and working well. We asked to do a room change so after 3 hours they gave another room (to my wonder I found they reassigned that shit room to another couple checked in after me without even rectifying the issues I reported). So far so good; we came back from a famous Kerala Ayurveda massage to find in mid of winter their hot water in bathroom not working. So we spent sleepless night with oil all over our body!!! I forgot to mention they don't have any sensible person at reception to pickup your call so you need to walk all the way in dark cold hilly roads to raise your concerns. Worst part of the story next day when we demanded to see the manager, we were told he is having breakfast at the common restaurant so we need to wait since of course we can't talk all this in front of other guest !!!! In one word "THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD". Ruined my anniversary stay. Huh!! If you don't want these (shits) to happen to you, just don't stay here ... there are plenty of amazing and cheaper hotels nearby.

It being off season, we didnt see much of crowd. Apart from us, there were probably only two more families occupying the property. We where there for 3 days. The property is as beautiful as in the pictures shown. We had a package inclusive of breakfast and in house peddle boating and fishing and spice plantation visit. We could not do peddle boating cause of low water levels cause of on set of summer and lack of rains. The staff were very cordial and their services where excellent. Their property was very good and located not far from the town but secluded enough for a beautiful and peaceful retreat. We went along with our aged parents and kofiland staff was always at service for any needs, weather it was for transport from our villa to the main gate, restaurant or to pool side in golf cart so that they could avoid walking the climb to n fro from villa or be it to assist us with any other needs. The property is well maintained with swimming pool, gym and ayurvedic spa. They had a watch tower along with levels for snooker table, TT, and a souvenir shop. The only down side was that their food was very steeply priced, and with not much of options. The food was just average and not value for money. I would suggest they should surely improve on that part of their services. Our over all experience was very good. And we would recommend it to anybody seeking a peaceful and beautiful retreat.

“Forest bathing location”
The location is excellent. Swimming pool is well maintained. Walk around the property is soothing. Food was prepared according to our requirements. The manager Mr. Rajan is a jolly person, who personally took us on guided tours of property and surroundings. Note that one has to climb up ~ 60 stairs or a slope to reach the villas.
