It was my husbands birthday so we decided to visit Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar. Read good reviews about this hotel so booked it. Called the hotel and spoke to the FD Manager Ashwin who at a nominal fee upgraded us to a lovely room on second floor with panoramic views of the valley and the river. We were able to check in without having to wait for the check in time thanks to Ashutosh and Manager Rajneesh. The cab company that works for the hotel was great as well and I would highly recommend Vaibhav the owner and the driver Rohit be contacted for local sight seeing tours etc . Rooms are well appointed and have the standard amenities . There is a restaurant on sight and complimentary breakfast is included in most cases : very sumptuous ensemble and thanks to the Chef Singh for preparing our meals . Shout out to the housekeeping staff who are very quick to respond to any requests and keep the rooms spick and span . Thanks to Shakuntala who baked a lovely cake for my husbands birthday. One does not have to worry about looking for a bakery since this facility is right there at the hotel. My husband and I really enjoyed our trip and recommend this property to our family and friends.

Hotel Nivanta has now become Treebo Tryst Nivanta. It has an Excellent Location adjacent to Parsi Point on the main Panchgani-Mahabaleshwar Road. The Super Deluxe Mahogany Rooms on the 3rd Floor where we stayed are Spacious with a King Size Bed with 2 Side Tables, 3 Seater + Single Seater Sofa Set with Center Table, Wardrobe with Hangers, Electric Kettle with Tea/Coffee/Sugar Sachets, Mini Fridge, Decent Sized Bathroom and a Large Attached Balcony that offers Splendid & Unhindered Views of the Mountains, Valley and the serene Krishna River below, which is Truly Spectacular. The Room is Well Appointed, and the Amenities & Furnishings are Good. The Staff are Polite and Helpful. The Room Tariff includes Vegetarian Buffet Breakfast served in the Restaurant, which is always Freshly Prepared and Tasty. The Restaurant also serves good Veg & Non Veg Food for Lunch & Dinner, though the service can be a bit slow. Parking is in the Sloping Entry Lane of the Hotel outside and can sometimes be a bit challenging for inexperienced persons to park their vehicles. The Lift accommodates only 2 Persons and goes only up to the 2nd Floor, so you have to walk up one flight of stairs to the 3rd floor. Also, since the Lift is very small, your Baggage has to be carried up and down the Staircase by the Hotel Room Boys. There is no Geyser in the Bathrooms and Hot Water is available in the Taps only in the mornings, through the Solar and/or Gas/Wood Fired Central Heaters of the Hotel. Overall a nice, small & cozy Hotel to stay in at Reasonable Rates. Would recommend staying in the Super Deluxe Mahogany Rooms on the 3rd Floor for their size and Large Balcony with an Amazing View.
