“A nice cozy and peaceful hotel.”
"Beautiful". So here are the good and average pointers in a nutshell: Location: Its a great place to be. Just 100 walking steps to the left of the entry to "Mall Road". There is a lot of noise on the Mall Road, but as soon as you take about 50 steps to the left of the Mall Road entry, towards the hotel, you will hear almost utter silence and peace. You don't even realize how close you are to the noisy Mall Road, once you are in the hotel. Ideal to relax! Parking: This is the only drawback. The hotel has a parking, but that is ony for private vehicles. There is no parking for taxis. I had hired a taxi for my travel and we were not allowed to park in the hotel despite requesting them. As a result I had to shell out 200-300 bucks daily to accomodate my taxi on the Mall Road parking. On the booking sites like agoda.com, makemytrip.com and all, they show that parking is available, but nowhere is it mentioned that parking for taxis is not available. Staff Attitude: Very co-operative and helpful. Room and Cleanliness: A big enough room for a couple, clean bedsheets/quilts/blankets, a comfortable mattress for a cozy sleep, and absolutely clean rooms with daily replenished supply of Tea/Coffee/Milk saches and a hot water kettle available in the room, incase you wana make your own morning bed tea, which I prefer.Ample options to set the amount of light in your room to have the ambience you desire at different times of the day, which is cool. Bathrooms: Modern and super clean bathrooms with hot water geyser available 24 hours, with properly functioning taps and shower. View: I had room # 204, which did not have any balcony/view, however, there are rooms (slightly more expensive), that have balconies/views. Wifi and Internet: Available, as per what is mentioned on the hotel website and other sites, but there's almost a non-existant reception in the rooms.
