“Low budget and good location but can have better service”

This hotel is located in a good location with some really nice restaurants nearby. It is in the heart of the city of Mangalore. The price of the room was reasonable and they have a nice parking area as well. However, the room service could have been better. For instance, the room we got didn't have the best ventilation and there was a little smell of mold. The room had cups and tea/coffee, however, no spoon was provided. We mostly stayed in the room only at night as we were busy roaming the city and beaches. For the purpose of just a stay, it's a good place and fits the bill. However, if you're the type who's looking for amenities and staying in the room for the entire day, then this is not the hotel for that sort of travel.

Please improve your breakfast. Some of the dishes were not available within the stipulated time for Breakfast. Some more variety would make it more worthy. even spoons and forks were not available and we have to constantly wait till the staff brings in. Al others were fine. Thanks

This hotel was good about facility, space, breakfast. Especially reception staffs were very kind and they will support about many situations. Unfortunately there was a lot of mosquito first night. I talked reception staffs and they lent me a vapor insecticide, so next night was comfortable. If you want to stay here, please borrow a insecticide so that you sleep well. This is a good hotel other than this issue.

we booked and maid full payment as we were flying late night on 24th and so that when we arrive early morning on 24th we'll have a room. however when we arrived at the hotel, they said the room was canceled as we dint turn up and given to others. for a room that i fully pain and reserved i got this reply. was a struggle with young children. they told us to contact agoda for refund

“Treebo Pappilon Palace - Loved it”

We booked two rooms for two nights. The hotel was on my GPS so finding it was no problem at all. First off, it is located right in the heart of Mangalore. The actual premise is not on the main road but one building behind which is actually good because it very nearly eliminates traffic noise - very important if you are used to sleeping in a bedroom that has little or no noise. Room is medium sized (roughly 12 x 12 feet) but fairly adequate with a large double bed and attached bath containing a storage type geyser. Sanitary ware is of good quality and bathroom has anti-skid tiles. Everything was neat and clean. AC worked well. Did not try the LCD TV. The landing on each floor is spacious with a couch placed near the lift. There is a surveillance camera the corridor of each floor which is an excellent deterrent for any would-be thieves. They serve buffet breakfast on the 5th floor and it was of decent quality and had many options. At ground level they have a fairly large parking lot which for a centrally based hotel, is a luxury. No Gym, no pool, no restaurant. Personally would have loved it even more if they had a gym. For eating there is Ocean Pearl next door or New Taj Mahal hotel. The former being upper class while the latter provides fairly okay quality at economical fares. The hotel was quite but at that time of the year (Aug-end) there weren't many guests. I value a quite place. The staff are well trained and do an excellent job. The reception is manned till 11p.m. -ish and after that the watchman looks after it. The night watchman also doubles as your car washer. For Rs 100/- (and I added a Rs 50 tip), he did an excellent job on my car which had become dirty during the long drive in the rains. Do I recommend this place? - YES If you are coming without kids. If with kids, a place with a restaurant might be better but hey, that's just my personal view. Cheers!

This hotel is given 3 stars which is not applicable..it shld be given oly 2 stars because it doesnot satisfy a 3 star hotel facilities..the hotel doesnot hv a proper restaurant..for morning breakfast the food served is not proper..it is not in a 3 star range..the location of the hotel is bad..its hard to find the hotel..even for taxi drivers..overall i would give this hotel oly 2 star
