The Alpine Chalet Resort Dhanachuli is an exceptional place to have a peaceful holiday. Though the the journey is a bit tiresome, but the moment you land up at the location all the effort of reaching here would seem worthwhile. Its a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of overcrowded hill stations. Fortunately the food is exceptionally good. Overall, it has been a very nice experience being in this resort.

I visited this place in May 2022. I booked the hotel after checking the reviews on Agoda. The resort is located at a very beautiful place but poor management and uncleanliness made the location less worthy of a praise. So upon visiting my room, I learned that the room has a lot of problems. For example bathroom’s washbasin was leaking, pot was unclean, there were spider webs in the bathroom, no toilet paper, a very few toiletries, dustbin was not working, lots of spider webs in the room, kettle was dirty, dirt all over the glasses and table, room’s dustbin was faulty and smelly, balcony’s lock not working, bed was really small, balcony filled with water due to rainfall, balcony’s table and chair were dirty, Wi-Fi does not work at all, electricity keeps on crashing, sometimes no water during the day/night even to flush the toilet, very limited food menu in buffet, food was hell expensive. Room service staff was fine but restaurant staff was negligent. The manager had a negative attitude towards the guests. The staff didn’t even inform us about the resort activities. To sum up, I would like to say that don’t waste your money visiting this resort.

Alright, the location is beautiful but that’s about it. The manager has no basic etiquettes although the staff is decent, but the manager doesn’t know how to talk. The owner is helpful too, but hey why do you even plan a trip for ? Basics, good food, good Stay, talking about food, the food here is expensive, and tasteless since there are no other outlets nearby you Have no other option but to eat here, coming to the food rates, it’s ridiculous, for eg chicken momos are for 500 bucks!!! Had the food been good enough, paying wouldn’t have been a problem, but it’s absolutely crazy to pay for food that tastes soo bad! My suggestion would be, firstly don’t plan a trip to Mukhteshwar, unless you have nothing better to do in life, and if you do plan, don’t plan your stay here.

“Worst place ”
Place was full of flies and inserts some kind of machine was making noice 24*7 and when complaint they told us that it will close while we sleep but it never happened, wifi was not working whole time.
