Hotel is at center of the city. this is not full fledged standard hotel. it's like a home stay and very less facility is on board. basically there was no staff to well come us. we ourselves went till the room and carried our laugages till the room. Hospitality was not as expected and showed in web site. The complimentary break fast was pathetic. first a fall there was a shortage of food and service is very poor. finally we had good break fast outside of this hotel(home stay) after checkout. room are good and clean. that is The only one positive point in can say about this home stay...

Rooms were exceptionally good, it was clean, spacious. Its not hotel. its a homestay. located near valluvar kottam, using public transport is no problem, can easily get call taxi, uber and ola. only thing is the kitchen, all north indian menu, no much choice on south indian, buffet breakfast is also limited. not much choice. except the food, all the other facilities are ok. I asked for one large king sized or queen sized bed, but they gave me only twin bed, single. one bed was empty. if it would have been one big sized bed, it would have been more comfortable. quality of the cup boards and the hangers, and the wash rooms is to the 2 star hotel range, which needs some improvements. the lift is too old model, asking to close the inside door and outside door, which actually was very new to me. first timers don't go alone, get someone who can help you for the first time

I had a very good experince at Treebo Elan. We had gone to Chennai in the aftermath of Cyclone Varda. The networks were down n there was no wifi in the hotel. When i attempted to buy a sim card they were also not available. I was then lamenting about this to the staff Surinder n he offered me his spare sim card the next day. I then used his sim card to book uber cabs around for my family. He ought to be appreciated for his initiative. As we were also a family of 4 ladies, he also asked after us n it made us feel secure We didnt have any trouble looking for food too. The kitchen had a wide delish menu n after a long day of shopping we came back to eat. Located in a quiet nice neighbourhood i would say i got a rather good deal for the amount i paid.
