Far from center of Budapest .no transport facility near to hotel Also cold hotel the staff want 20 euro grantee only to give you split control to on the split only . Also the Warner not worked while very cold weather in Budapest .the water for shower also not warm .i do not recommend for any one to make booking in this hotel

No real issue with my stay here other that the air con unit wasn't active, but that was only a minor problem personally. Breakfast was adequate, staff were friendly & it was close enough to the tram route for my undertakings. Would happily stay here again.

It finally happened: I can now easily answer to question, what was your worst hotel staying ever. It was, without any doubt, Hotel Bara, Budapest. Bad, but not crucial: - There is no mini bar in the room, nor there is safe, hair dryer, shampoo; - Wireless is creepy; - Location is not the best, considering that you have to use public transportation to reach any point of interest (which means to pay), or to go by your car (and pay for public garage); one way or another, you have to pay 10 eur/day for hotel garage, of which you will be informed at the reception upon arrival; - Very modest breakfast, without any variety, terrible so-called juice and worse coffee; Bad enough to remember for a long time: - There is a conference hall inside of hotel, which was used by a huge group of Japanese as a party hall. Hotel was echoed with terrifying, horrifying, “music” (that sounded similar as Serbian turbo folk). Japanese parties obviously didn’t think that conference hall is big enough, so they bust out in the receptionist hall and start to produce scary noise, screams, or something like that, apparently drunk, of course. And that last until midnight. No use to complaint to a receptionist. Speaking of receptionist, no use to ask him anything. If he was at his work place at all, mostly he was chatting on his mobile, without interest to help you on any topic. The worst (and more than enough to not come back here): - Bed is small, mattress was ready for changing many years ago: experience sleeping on the bed of nails, but be prepared. If you are not fakir from India, you will be in trouble. Let’s get it simple. It was not expensive, but I won’t be back, not even that it is free, not even if they pay me to come back.

We live in the 5th floor of the hotel that is smaller than a regular room for 2 people the mini bar didn’t have anything I’m not even water the bathroom didn’t have any shampoo only paper the breakfast was very poor only bread and some cheese and salami nothing like I have seen in other hotels we have also been charged 6€ each for "travelers" fee overall it’s 10 minutes from the city center in a pretty good location but not worth if you are looking for the minimum of your satisfaction

Very depressing environment. Poor staff attitude towards customers. Virtually non existent service after 11 am. No kettle, refreshment, ironing board or non local tv channels.

“Economy hotel without air conditioning”

The good points: The place is clean, the rooms are clean, towels and beds are changed regularly. The breakfast is very good, has good variety and items are restocked quickly when they run out. It it close to a bus stop that takes you into downtown. The bus seems to run quite frequently. The not so good points: No air conditioning in the rooms. The windows do open allowing air in, but in the summer months, the rooms are quite hot. Some rooms are supplied with a fan that helps with the heat. The hotel is located on a very busy street, so expect noise if the windows are open. The elevator is tiny. Certainly the smallest elevator I have ever seen. You can fit about 3 people in it. If you are unlucky to have a room on the 5th floor, you will have to climb some stairs as the elevator only goes up to the 4th floor. There seems to be very little sound proofing in the rooms, so there is often quite a lot of noise from the hallway and or other rooms. room little refrigerator did not work.

the rooms were spartan but acceptable. the shower in our room flooded for some reason the first day but was fine the following day. breakfast included was very generous and hearty. staff were pleasant.

“가격 대비 Good, Hotel 자체로는 *** 급”

가격대비 좋습니다. 특가 상품은 도로쪽 방을 주느데, 좀 시끄러워요. 창문 열어놓으면 아주 소란스럽고, 화장실에서는 물 흐르는 소리가 들림. 가격대비 아침식사는 좋고, 위치도 그리 나쁘지 않음. 주위 가까운 곳에 편의점은 없고(도보로 7분 정도), 식당은 5분정도 걸으면 있음. 헝가리 음식 잘 하는 식당 있음. 버스정류장 가깝고 시내까지는 버스로 10분 이내로 아주 편리함.

호텔에 밤 12시 조금 넘어 도착하니 로비 불도 거의 다 꺼져 잇었고, 사람을 부르니 좀 있다가 나옴. 그후 며칠동안은 호텔로비를 낮이나 저녁이나 불을 켜 놓지 않아 마치 고스트하우스 같은 분위기였음. 방은 소박하고 괜찮은 편임. 호텔 부대시설은 거의 없기 때문에 호텔내의 생활은 없음. 조식은 중급정도 였음. 시내에서 버스로 3정거장 정도로 교통은 편리하였음

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Budapest völlig ausreichend! Wir kommen wieder! Die Zimmer sind einfach, etwas abgenutzt, aber sauber. Die Rezeption ist sehr bemüht. Das Frühstück ausreichend. Für diesen Preis passt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Ein solides Hotel mit dem Charme der 60-ger Jahre und einer ausgezeichneten Küche. Super sauber und leicht erreichbar gelegen, nur 1 Minute vom Erreichen der Stadtgrenze entfternt.
