The front desk manager was lovely as were the other staff. They also recommended a boat trip for us which was amazing.

Went in the summer and it was beautiful. Great facilities and a beautiful room over looking the courtyard. Lovely stay and would recommend to anyone!

Fabulous building with charming romantic surrounding. There is so much potential in this hotel. To start with, paying attention to small things would elevate the niveau of the hotel. To include toothpaste and brush into the bathroom package. To keep the food in the buffet warm. To serve quality coffee for breakfast. To have a bar to relax and have drinks in the evening. Not to close the spa at 8 PM.

Pros: nice wellness center, food. Cons: bathroom design- sink : very low and water splashes everywhere, no shampoo, lotion... ( it's in every hotel ! ) spider web and spider in room and nobody sees them to clean it?!

Pros are food spa and location. Cons are week AC in room ( was 35 + degrees outside ! ) Carpets around hotel were worn out. Lift system - no direct lift to 3rd floor. However over all very good hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

Booked a classic premium room. The room itself was very nice, but was very dark and gloomy and it stank of sewers. The drain was blocked in the shower when we got there, so we reported that and it took them until the night before to unblock it and leave dirty footprints all over the bath room. The smell didn't go away. The aircon in the room didn't work. The hotel should be great but I feel there is a lack of money as it is very run down and tatty and in need of some renovations. The hall that our room was on had no lighting, so had to use iPhone lights to find our way - told the reception, but they don't really seemed concerned. The food for breakfast and dinner was ok, but certainly not 4* For the price, there are certainly better hotels available in Füred.

Located in the tourist / spa centre of Balatonfured, the hotel is a perfect selection. The parks, museums, the lake and the port are within 5 minutes walk. Rooms are as expected in four-star hotels. SPA facilities are good as well. Breakfast and dinner were good, although the staff in the restaurant is kind of snobby and brings invoices without waiting for the end of the dinner (which is really weird!). On the contrary, staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful.

Did not have my reservation in system. No towels or robe in room. Air conditioning did not work. Arrogant staff.
