Expect a mediocre hotel run by Gen Z staff. Has the feeling of a training facility. The rooms are ok, though.

The pool was under maintenance, and no announcement was accessible during booking.

Staff were very rude and refused to help when I simply asked for a shampoo refill. It took hours before someone came to my room. Since then when I called front desk, they never answered. I had to go to reception when I needed anything like clean towels, cups and when a glass shelf looked like it was about to fall off. The cleaning staff was wonderful but reception staff and the restaurant staff in the hotel that microwaves your dinner and still served my dinner cold were unpleasant and rude. After dinner, I realized they charged me the wrong items and actually paid more. They refused to refund the overcharge and suggested I fix my bill with a teammate that sat at my table. In short, they charged me her dinner, refused to refund or to apologize and said it is hard for them to know who had what dinner so I had to figure it out myself. I ordered soup, ice cream and a spritz. My friend had goulash and water. My friend joined me after I ate my soup and finished my ice cream which was about 1 hour later. Very confusing for the staff in the hotel restaurant that had maybe 8 people to serve in the whole restaurant. Not!!

I enjoyed every part of my stay - even got to experience their spa/wellness area, which is decent (relevant for me was the pool with 1.35 m depth and the two saunas connected to a small outdoor area, the latter only being turned on @ 14:00 though). Everything was in order, the breakfast excellent and staff accommodating and friendly. Thank you :)

Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Location: 15 minutes to centre and Sanssouci Palace Hotel room: need an upgrade into a moden design. However, the room is clean and spacious. Unfortunately, they will only give you ONE bottle of water in your room. The price is a bit expensive.. For a 4 star hotel, i wasnt expected that slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste are not Provided. Unless you will pay 5 euros to use their spa then you will get a bath robe and a slippers. Food: breakfast buffet has a good selection of food. Restaurant: closed at lunch time.

Room was ok, clean. Nothing fancy, only the basics. Irony was that they give a bottled water with cap, without a bottle opener. One of the towels supplied had a stain on it. It's not specified that only cars below 1.8m height fit into the hotel garage, otherwise you need to find parking on side streets or the street opposite the hotel.

The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The pool can be used for additional fees, which we found alright due to the prices for heating (gas, electricity,etc), however the pool was too cold, painful to swim in.

I stayed for a week. Everything was good until I checked out and forgot a power strip. I came back for it as soon as I realized (about 2 hours), I was 100% sure someone would notice and keep it for me but guess what? The reception told me the room was cleaned and nothing was found, unbelievable. Maybe a room service threw it away or didn’t notice it, maybe someone found and kept it but didn’t notice other, just my bad luck I guess.

Staying at Dorint was great! I very much enjoyed my time. The only downside I would say is casually being ignored by the bartenders. Not sure as to the reason but I needed assistance from others every time I attended the bar to get a drink. Perhaps Im easily overlooked. Other than that it was great! Thanks to the staff for making the visit nice.

The first room we had was too hot and could not be cooled except by opening the window. Unfortunately, road noise made it difficult to sleep. The second two nights were better after we changed rooms to be on the quiet side. The room was very clean and comfortable, although the european style bed with two narrow side by side mattresses and single blankets make it difficult for my partner and I to sleep together. Wifi was expensive, although we were told it would be free in two weeks. The problem was not only the price, it was glacially slow, which made communication with our US office only possible in the lobby.
