The only my concern is no air conditioner in this hot summer so I can't sleep along my trip and the room was so small for the family

No air conditioning. Only ventilation you get is from opening the window, but the problem is the street is very noisy until 1am. Noise is a big problem not only from the outside, noise can easily be heard from others room including walking, and opening doors.

The room was really small and if you have 2 big luggages open you will have trouble walking around the room. Lift was incredibly small too and could only fit 2 people at a time. There was no aircon & fan in the room and i had to close the window as there were construction stages adjacent to the hotel which meant opening the window could present some danger. The room felt very stuffy and hot at night and was quite a unpleasant sleep. The hotel was around a 5-10 mins walk from the nearest tram station where you have to take another 5-10 mins to get to the main train stn (HBF). However, staff was really trying to be helpful when i feedback about the stuffiness of the room

I stayed at the Westend hotel on a recommendation from my son, as it was the closest hotel to his apartment. The hotel was clean, and had a wonderful breakfast for an added minimal charge. My room was on the 5th floor, elevator only goes to the 4th floor, and maybe so does the hot water and water pressure??? I asked to have it checked, and it worked for the first day, then went back to low pressure and lukewarm water. I booked the hotel as a place to sleep, and it was perfect for that

Rooms are very small.Barely enough room to open your suitcase. The closet shelves are only about 2.5 inches deep which is just enough to put your socks on the shelves. No room for sweaters.Had inky 3 clothes hanger. is about a 10min walk to the nearest S-Bahn station (subway station). Had to leave early due to family emergency and they were suppose to contact me regarding a refundand as of yet have not heard a word from them.

Given the decent price for this property, I was quite impressed with the upkeep. Even the bathroom fixtures were polished and shiny! Decent walkability to a few restaurants and tram access to the rest of town. Pros: Walkable area with good transit access. Very clean, staff were friendly and professional. I was quite pleased to discover there was a fridge! Cons : The bed was a bit uncomfortable. The room was quite warm so I had to leave the window open which meant it could be a bit noisy. All in all, the cons are small things and I'd happily visit Westend again!

Great breakfast, room below average, staff unfriendly depending on who you get. Beds very comfy, room very small. View onto construction which kicks off at 0530 in the morning. If you just need a bed for the night this hotel is ok. Would not recommend for a holiday stay

My husband and I were in Munich for 2 days. We wanted to stay close to the bus station. Our biggest mistake was booking a hotel late. So I booked Westend after reading the reviews. I have NO idea why anyone rated this hotel above 2 points. This hotel was expensive for what you get! The hotel is very far from the center! The hotel is super old and our room was quite small. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. However, the pillows were a joke!!! As soon you put your head in it, the pillow becomes flat. We immediately asked the night receptionist and he said he doesn’t know where the pillows are. How do I believe that?! The next morning the morning receptionist was kind enough to get us extra pillows but that did not help. 2 flat pillows just wrecked my sleep. The hotel is surrounded by construction. we didn’t pay for the breakfast. Right in front of the hotel is a lovely bakery/cafe with great fresh choices. The only good thing we found about the hotel is tram 18 runs right in front and takes you into the center. Also it’s walking distance to S bahn and U bahn. It’s also an 18 minute walk to the central train station. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again and would not recommend this place to others. Find something closer to the center.

Stayed 1 night only. Reception staff were friendly and helpful though would be nice to have a spare charger/plug there. Coffee machine makes great cappuccino. €7 surcharge for breakfast seems reasonable. Room itself was a bit tiny so if you need more space avoid 5th floor rooms.Also there's elevator only upto 4th. HBF is 15 min walk,Octoberfest area even closer. There's a shopping center 3 min walk from hotel. Overall good value for money.

Good basic hotel very helpful with a request for early Check-in S-Bahn station 6-7 minutes away with direct links to Central areas of Munich Central Train Station 2mins.Marienplatz 5 mins plus Trams to Central areas 3 minutes from Hotel only downside no lift.

It was one of the cheapest options in Munich yet the hotel is super clean and cosy. Free tea and coffee 24/7 is a great plus.

“Perfectly Located with Clean Rooms and Fast Wi-Fi”
Spacious and clean rooms with fast Wi-Fi and a large TV for Netflix/Amazon Prime. Conveniently located near the train station - 30mins talk to train station. ,nearby bus stop also. The staff is very helpful.
