We loved our stay at Hotel Sir and Lady Astor for a variety of reasons including their location and friendliness. Do note there are no lifts so it might not be great for guests with limited mobility, but the place itself is fantastic.

Very nice Hotel. Our room was very beautifully decorated and very clean. The Hotel also has a beautiful garden/courtyard and reception areas for guests to enjoy. Breakfast was a treat, delicious and many options. The Hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The Hotel is close to the Bus stop from the airport and also a short walk to the city and train station. City is also very close. Unfortunately we were given a ground-floor room facing the street and if you are noise sensitive that can be a problem in the summer. The room had a fan, but it's noisy, in the summer you can't can't open the window because of the cars. Winter would be quite fine because the windows are fantastic and block out all the street noise. If you are booking in the summer time and you don't like noise I would suggest asking for a room that faces the courtyard. Other than that I would definitely stay there again.

We only stayed here a night. The rooms are tiny but the place is beautifully maintained. Breakfast is the highlight of the place

“Wonderful stay”
We spent two nights in Hotel Astor. The location is perfect for a city trip, the English interior gives it a specific charm and the breakfast is very nice.
