Very old hotel. Rooms need to be renovated. No Wifi in the rooms.

Good things first. The hotel is located in a beautiful area with easy bus connections towards central Berlin, and while the hotel is old and slightly creepy, the rooms were clean and fairly welcoming. We did not, however, feel very welcome when we arrived since the hotel was locked and dark, and no one showed up when ringing their bell. The age of the hotel was an issue as well, since the rooms heated up too quickly, the floor was so noisy we cringed when walking around, and it certainly did not look much like the pictures.

“Not customer-friendly and unreliable”

Wir reisten mit Baby. Dass sie (wie auf der eigenen Website angekundigt!) Babybetten haben, erwies sich als Lüge. Wir mussten hart dafür kämpfen, dass sie eines von einem anderen Hotel organisierten. Dafür bezahlten wir sogar noch winen Aufpreis. Das Kind wäre in den Spalt und an den Boden gerutscht, die Betten schieben sich immer wieder auseinander. Das Gepäck konnten wir am Abreisetag auch nicht deponieren, da sie nicht versprechen können, dass um 15 Uhr die Reception besetzt ist. Für 3 Sterne eigentlich gar nicht möglich. Wir hatten einen Schnäppchenpreis, deswegen war die Bezahlung gerade einigermassen angemessen. Die drei Sterne sind absolut übertrieben, da auch die Zimmer recht schmutzig sind und alles schon etwas miefig ist, da es seit Ewigkeiten nicht erneuert wurde. Und eben: das Personal kümmert sich einen Dreck um die Gäste, es sei denn man legt sich mit ihm an. Schlechteste Hotelerfahrung ever.

nice, cheap room in the heart of town- would get all the stars if it had wifi in the rooms!

“Shower Curtain Issue”

The shower curtain needed to be replaced. The bottom of it looked moldy and had red discoloring from a mixture of cleaning chemicals. Also, the hotel felt a bit creepy because of the dim lighting in the halls. On the upside, the receptionist was very friendly and discussed tour options with me.

Lift was like from scary movies horrible ,room was quit big but everything old.Dirty carpet ,old wood windows, old spring matress broken wardrobe doors.Hotel really needs renovation :) Internet isn't working at all . Only bathroom and towels was clean and nice.

“Could be better”

I believe we weren't very lucky with the room – it was clean but extremely noisy as if any minute a stranger would walk in. The bed and bedding were ok, but pillows were terrible, got myself a headache. For one night no problem, but more than that – no thank you, even for these prices.

“Value for money”

Our 'double' turned out to be a twin with two beds pushed together (often the case in Europe) so always request a 'large' bed if you want to avoid this. Guy on reception was pretty cool, only charged us one day for parking pass thing when our car was there Monday evening to Wednesday morning! Just a note, you need a pass that you can buy from service stations to enter the 'green zone' when driving in Berlin. The guy on reception would not issue the parking pass until we had one (he was nice about it). Hotel was dated, old rooms, decor, television etc. breakfast was pretty good with quite a few options. Location good, short walk to ubahn station. Overall has potential but decor lets it down. Good price though

“Beautiful hotel in excellent location”

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely hotel. It is situated in a beautiful tree-lined street and has easy access to public transport. The breakfasts were great and the staff were helpful.

fairly reasonable. no coffee or tea making facilities in the room. no wifi in the room. room carpets are in very primitive condition. again overall all the staff have been very polite and helpful

Hotel was old and less maintained. Squeaky floors and squeaky beds. Insufficient hot water in small bathroom with outdated facilities. It was one of the best truly European (not Continental) breakfast that I have taken in a small hotel. Surprisingly, no free wifi.

“Cosy hotel with efficient staff”

Enjoyed the stay. Staff very accommodating and prompt in service. They were prepared to serve us breakfast @ 7am before leaving for the airport though they usually serve breakfast only at 8.30am. However the lift is 'ancient'. Needs upgrading. Room is clean

“Good value for money”

A little out of city center, but it's very easy with the metro system to go from one end of the city to the other. Good breakfast in the morning and lots of pamphlets to help with your sightseeing. We got rainy cold days during our stay, but we borrowed umbrellas, which makes a big difference. We were on the 4th floor (lots of stairs) but there is a very small and old elevator. The hotel is old, but they were renovating our floor when we were there. Standard clean room.

“Good location with efficient service, ”

Overall,our stay was comfortable. However there's no bedside table and mirror in the room. A dressing table with mirror is a necessity. The "ancient" lift needs to be upgraded.

Arta Lenz is located right in the city with lot of shops and restaurants. There is a train station right next to it. It is very easy to get to attractions on buses. Parking can be a bit of a problem though, but is still manageable. The room is quite small for double occupancy but the bathroom is spacious, clean and new. The triple and quad rooms seems much bigger. The breakfast is continental, ie cold cut meats and cheese, but they do have a good selection of it.

The room is quite small for double occupancy but the bathroom is spacious, clean and new. The breakfast is continental, ie cold cut meats and cheese, but they do have a good selection of it.

Sehr altes, abgewohntes Hotel. Stark Renovierungs- und modernisierungsbedürftig. Hält nicht was es verspricht; kein w-lan auf Zimmer, keine besetzte Rezeption, gar nicht behindertengerecht.

“Bruchbude. Alles dreckig. Stromausfall keiner kümmerte sich . Kein Frühstück. Widlerich. Nur wied”

Der Komplex ist einfach ekelhaft. Das Zimmer ist dreckig und es stinkt. Dreckige Handtücher. Kein Service. Alles polnisch dort. Das Hotel sollte sich schämen Leute dafür held bezahlen zu lassen. Das war das erste und letzte Mal für uns. Einfach widerlich
