Nice and clean hotel to stay. Room slightly small but it doesn't affect really. Staff is very friendly and willing to help anytime.

But 4 star? Check in was smooth, it’s clean and neat and modern. But also soulless, in contrast with the vibe the Happy Culture story is trying to sell.

French hotels have a bad reputation for being small, run down, dirty and shabby - but this hotel was far from that! It has been renovated recently so is modern and fresh, the room was immaculately clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. They kindly spoke French to me, then when my French skills fell short, they switched to fluent English. The location is great - the street is quiet at night, but very close to all the action and attractions in Toulouse, and close to the train station. The free parking was very useful too. Can’t recommend enough, especially for a value for money hotel!
