I had originally booked a hotel next to the airport for our final night in Paris. However, since our flight was later in the day I thought changing to a hotel more centrally located would be more fun. This hotel ended up being a great find. There were three of us, so finding a comfortable room for three is difficult. However, the options at Hotel Virginia were phenomenal for the otherwise tiny rooms you find most other places. The staff was happy to see us and answered our questions. We were out late and they didn’t seem annoyed when they needed to let us in at 2 am. Breakfast was yummy. The elevator is a kick in the pants! And, they were extremely kind in holding our luggage and getting us a cab for the airport the next day. I was crossing my fingers that a late hotel change wouldn’t bite me, and instead, it turned out to be a perfect fit. Also- it’s right off of the 4 line which takes you straight north to the Norte Dame area. Quiet location with quick access to the bustle.

Das Hotel Virginia ist ein sehr schönes gemütliches Hotel ,ungefähr 4km von Stadtzentrum entfernt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Neben dem Hotel befindet sich gleich ein Supermarkt und die Metrostation ist nur 2-3 Minuten entfernt. Zum Eiffelturm und Notre Dame fährt man zum Beispiel nur 20 Minuten. Das Hotelzimmer selber war sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet , wir konnten sehr schöne Stunden in diesem verbringen. Zusammengefasst vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis einfach nur Top!!!!!!!! Ich würde es jeden weiterempfehlen und werde bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Paris bestimmt wieder unterm Dach vom Hotel Virginia hausen.

Staff was excellent! Accommodating in EVERY way. There were 3 adults in a triple. It was small and the extra bed was unsatisfactory. After we made a comment about the bed, they upgraded us to the "Family" room for no extra cost. That room was very nice. It's also in a very convenient location with a full grocery store just a view feet away and a "Leonidas" chocolate shop directly across the street. Great breakfast breads, though. Good shower. Quiet. CONS: Tiny elevator. One adult and 2 bags at best. The breakfast was a little sparse, but good enough to fill you up. I think the kitchen staff was just overwhelmed. Bottom Line: I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We have informed hotel for late check-in by calling, however, we are asking to change to Parc Hotel (hotel nearby) which we are really dissapointed with. Please think twice before booking this hotel!!!!

“Great Hidden Gem”
Staff was VERY helpful and courteous. Rooms were very clean and not dated. A/C worked great. Mini bar was convenient. Breakfast was ok. Croissants were scrumptious. Complimentary tea and pastries in the lobby were a nice touch. Bus lines to all major areas are literally a few steps from the front door. EXCELLENT value. I will definitely stay here on my next visit.
