Hotel is in good location and has free breakfast. The food was good. For the rooms, the mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The electrical outlets were also outdated. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is in a great quiet location, close to the 93 park stores, bars and restaurants. Staff is nice, great buffet. We had a grand suite, it had a missing tv in the living room, broken safe, broken coffee maker. Beds are super hard. What really was disappointing was the the hotel lacks hot water. They have these beautiful large bathtubs, yet the hot water only works for a max of about 2 minutes. We asked maintenance if something was wrong. Turns out they have underpowered electric water heaters for each unit. No way possible to fill a bathtub. Keep your shower short and constantly adjusting the water from scalding to cold. Really a disappointment and a major letdown.

I booked this hotel, and when i arrived, it was not the same hotel, and they charged me at the lobby, so i had to pay twice.. Also i’ve been trying to contact Agoda’s Customer Service and its impossible!

This hotel is very near Parque 93 so good for that area - which is a pleasant and safe one - but a 20-30 minute taxi ride to central Bogota. We were unable to find any reliable information about buses. The staff will call taxis that arrive almost instantly. The hotel looks like the modern redbrick flats that dominate the area, has large clean and well-equipped rooms and does a good buffet breakfast

There is too much noise. Bring earplugs if you choose to stay here. The bed is not comfortable. There is no heat so request for more blankets coz it gets really cold at night.

My family was quite pleased with our overall experience at the Casa Real 93. Staff was wonderful, breakfast pleasant, rooms delightful (but cold...it was the first 3 wks. of summer and Bogota can be cold then). We asked for a blanket to wrap around us when in the room until bedtime. The beds had big duvets and nice pillows, etc. Once in bed we were nice and warm. Our room had a fireplace, but it seemed silly to ask for a fire, so we didn't. It was summer, you know. All of the staff- front desk, house keeping, breakfast room, bellmen, manager, drivers that they got for our airport return were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed 5 nights in 2 rooms (and at one time until one daughter left, had another room, making a total of 3 rooms) and loved every minute of it.

I have stayed in Casa Real several times now and always enjoy going back there whenever I am in Bogota. What I like most about it is its great location – only one block away from Parque 93 with many bars and restaurants. It is also a very economical hotel compare to other hotels I stayed in before in Bogota, such as Dan Carlton or Holiday Inn. Another plus is the staff. Always friendly and helpful and they really make you feel welcome at any time. The rooms are very nice and spacious. I am always ending up in the same room, so I can’t speak for all rooms, but mine (203 or 303) featured a sofa/TV corner, kitchen, comfortable king-size bed and a big bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel and the connection is quite good, although not fast enough for Skype video calls and it disconnected from time to time. The breakfast buffet is small, but has everything you need including breads, muesli, delicious fresh-cut fruit (papaya, honey melon, pineapple and watermelon), fresh fruit juice (great) as well as a live cooking station for omelettes. The breakfast room also has a sofa corner with a real fire place and a bar with TV, which is a nice place to have a discussion or business meeting or just chill in the afternoon (reading one of the many books (in multiple languages) provided on the book shelf. The hotel also features a free parking garage, which was convenient for visitors and/or guests with a car. The only negative thing I can think of – something I didn’t notice during earlier stays – is that the hotel gets a bit loud in the morning. Usually around 6AM when the breakfast is prepared/starts. This woke me up pretty much every morning (especially during my current stay in room 203), which is close to the lobby, which is adjacent to the breakfast room. Nevertheless, Casa Real has become my first choice whenever I visit Bogota. It is conveniently located between the main centers of attraction being Usaquen and Zona T

the hotel is located in a nice green neighborhood within a short taxi ride from downtown (depends on the traffic). the staff was very professional and helpful and a free breakfast was a nice touch. the rooms and furniture looked tired though and should be renovated ot replaced soon.

Stayed here the second time in one year and it could really become my regular hotel in Bogota now. Reasonable price, great location and very friendly service. Not to forget the big rooms with sofa lounge. Perfect.

no era la primera vez que me alojaba en el hotel, y como siempre, todo estuvo a lo altura de lo esperado. las habitaciones suite son de buen tamaño, como pequeños apàrtamentos. desde mi ultima estadia mejoraron el lugra para desayunos, que ahora es mas amplio y con mejores opciones. por lo demas, lo mejor sigue siendo su localizacion, en una zona tranquila pero a 2 minutos caminando de una de las mejores zonas de ocio de bogotá.

“Room needed some care”
I stayed in Room 301 and the room at first looked great, but the bathroom was not so great. The sink has a huge gap between the counter and bowl, the bathroom itself is need of some sort of renovation. The shower door doesn't close, and for hot water, I guess it's a common thing in Bogota, but you have to run the water a while before hot water comes. There is also no heat in the room and the window seals are horrible. I made sure the windows were closed yet I could hear everything on the street crystal clear. And some nights the room was FRIGID and I was shivering all night with the bed covers over me. The saving grace of the hotel are that the staff are really nice and very courteous, but I understand the limitations of comfort in Bogota hotels, however I don't think this is a 4 star hotel.
