“可もなく不可もなく”

水道の蛇口の開閉が通常の逆だったので、使うたびになれなくて反対に回してしまった。予約してあったのに、何度も確認しなおされて心配になった。重慶の友人が交渉してくれて無事宿泊することができた。言葉がつうじないと困る。

The staff at the reception desk was not very pleasant or customer orientated. They called my room at midnight demanding that I come down and pay another 500 yuan deposit as I had gone over the original 500 yuan deposit by 120.00 yuan. My fiancee told them that calling the room at this hour was totally unacceptable and they should have called earlier in the evening or put a note under the door. I found it unprofessional to call and bug me for basically $20.00 USD after I spent 9 days in the hotel having paid upfront. Also anytime we asked the desk about anything it was as if we were disturbing them greatly.

The check in procedure was long and did not provide non smoking rooms as requested. Although booking was done through Agoda, but I am a platinum member of Le Club Accord Hotels, and after showing them my card, I was expecting the proper treatment of our requests. On checking out, the inefficiency of the checking out made me upset so I requested to meet the GM, and they kept delay and refuse to meet my request, only after some 20 minutes a guy was coming to talk to me. I was extremely disappointed to have stayed at Sofitel Forebasae Chongqing, and will never come back to this hotel again.

“Bad choice for chongqing”

Location is average. Hotel is definitely not up to standard expected from a Sofitel. I have been living in china for many years and still feel that many 5 star hotels often do not deliver on their international standard at all. Room is very old feel and not very clean. Wood panels on the wall seek dirty (greasy hand marks). Desk with broken plug covers. Shower leaking into the bathroom while taking a shower, gym is extremely basic either old and very limited equipment (few dumbbells, no chest press, no bar with free weights etc) and many more small details. Nothing is really terrible but the whole experience is just very disappointing. I do not recommend. There are prob many more suitable & newer hotels in such a big city to consider.

I like the setting of the room, with the bathroom can be connected visually, when there is no guess, but the curtain should be controlled from inside the bathroom, not from the outside. The desk is also great, although the chair is dangerous. It can flip very easily when leaning.

“Large luxury room”

I booked a superior room, but as I am a platinum member of the hotel (A Club), I was upgraded to the luxury room. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Chenjiaping long distance bus terminus (within walking distance), where I needed to take a bus to Sichuan. I tried the buffet dinner at the hotel's restaurant named "Spices". The food was just okay, not poor but not outstanding. The luxury room was large, I love the separate bath tub and shower area. The only thing that disappointed me was the condition of the cupboard and wardrobe. They were a bit old.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Nice food and other hotel facilities were of high standard. They arrange tours on our request and we were very pleased with their arrangements.

或許入住當天遇上酒店有大型會議, 前台只有一個服務生,忙中難免有些錯, 到房間后致電前台花了5分鐘才有人接廳。問題較嚴重的是早上9時, 竟然會有服務生在我們沒有要求的程況下,連續2次急速按門鈴, 只為了問我們需不需要洗衣服務!而且一間高級酒店, 竟然連住客享用遊池, 健身等設備也要每項收費!!!但為什麼在訂購時沒有說明呢?

入住5天! 飯店在能力許可範圍下 升級了行政樓層的較寬敞客房! 相比其他 不同業主的索菲特 或希O頓 輜銖必較! 重慶索菲特算很優待房客了! 離地鐵站略遠視飯店唯一不便處! 如果你不那麼在乎交通便利! 重慶索菲特是非常物有所值的5星飯店! 另外的小缺憾是索菲特一貫將游泳池外包委外經營! 泳池水溫控制 偏低! 每周兩天部分換水又加進更低溫冷水! 但24小時健身房是優秀的
