The owner was absolutely lovely, very friendly and made you feel at ease unfortunately he was based at the beachside bar and not in the village where I stayed. The wifi was broken for the first 24hrs although it was fixed as soon as they could. My room wasn't ready/cleaned on my arrival and I had no blanket and a broken toilet (although I was able to fix this myself) My biggest issue was with the wildlife that got into my room. Frogs, spiders and one morning I found a rat/mouse in my toilet. There was also rats that ran around outside of my room. I loved the bar on the beach and I feel bad for writing this because should I ever come back to sihanoukville I would definitely go back to the bar but I would not stay at this place again.

Sam the owner was really nice, toilets were dirty! Rooms weren't very clean and also infested with mosquitos and mice, which climb into your bags at night and wake you up! Music played by the beach bar until past midnight right next to the rooms. All in all I wouldn't stay here again

The room is cheap (cheaper if you book in person) and the bathroom is clean. We stayed in the village which is a short walk to the beach and only a 15 minute walk to the beach bar/ restaurant area however they do offer a free shuttle service to the beach bar and back! What really made it was the frieldily family who run it! The only thing that could be better is changing the towels and cleaning the room throughout the stay but I'm sure they would if you asked!!

Located right in the village at otres about a 15 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the Saturday night market. Great little place for food up the road that is cheap as well. Pretty standard room but good value for money. Bathroom is small but manageable

si vous aimez dormir sur un chantier dans une chambre pas tout à fait finie, avec des sanitaires pas très propres, pas de poubelle dans la chambre, de l'eau dans la salle de bains seulement 20% du temps, pas de wifi et une moustiquaire trouée, sam's bungalow Beach est fait pour vous. Nous on n'y retournera pas. Je ne parle même pas de l'accueil. «assieds toi, commande a manger, on verra la chambre plus tard». visiblement le propriétaire avait autre chose à faire. la nourriture du restaurant est franchement pas terrible (pas bonne quoi), et il est loin des chambres (qui de fait ne sont pas au bord de l'eau). Bref à éviter

“Cute bungalow on the beach”
The bungalow was very basic but we did have a mosquito net and fan! Sam himself is very friendly and made us feel right at home. The location is fantastic, literally right on the beach! There is only one bathroom and is shared with the bar which can make for a long wait, it can get a little dirty, and the tap/shower water came out brown.
