My room, whilst neat and tidy, absolutely stunk of 2nd hand cigarette smoke 🤢 as a non smoker i find that to be off putting.

Shared bathrooms which are actually very clean compare to many other places in Australia. Rooms are spacious enough to stay, comfy beds and big TV

We had a great stay. Staff were amazing, especially the young guy on the counter (unfortunately can't remember his name). The room and amenities were spotless however the room had a stale cigarette type odour. Nevertheless i would thoroughly recommend.

Affordable overnight option for travelers .My recommendation would be of you prefer an ensuite to make sure you book one as I booked a room that only had a bed and no ensuite by error. I was able to change this and convert to a bed and ensuite no trouble at all.

Nightcap at Ashley Hotel is highly recommendable for it's good facilities, staffs are friendly and it's cleanliness inside the room and very quiet and comfortable. My husband & I had enjoyed our night sleep.

Staff were friendly on arrival, showed us hiw to access our room. Room was clean and tidy an the ensuite was very clean. Very close to the city and inly 5 minutes from highpoint shopping centre. Would stay again

Room was tidy, well presented and had plenty of storage space. Traffic could be heard on the main road adjacent the hotel, but that wasn't a major disruption later on in the night. The rooms are above a bistro, but as I got to my room outside of the bistro opening hours, can't comment on the noise.

“Awful exterior, grubby right up until the room door opens.”
I arrived at the hotel - massive potholes in the carpark, grubby beer scented pokies place with staff far more interested in gossiping than serving. Ciggie butts littered up the chipped stairs into the motel rooms. The room and shared bathrooms were clean enough, although the wine glasses in the fridge were filthy. The bed was comfortable and the ancient AC eventually caught up to the afternoon heat. Why reno the rooms but leave every other part of the venue looking and smelling so awful and unloved? It was a desperation stay - I will never book accomms this late on a busy weekend again.
Hi there Fiona, Thank you for your feedback. We are currently going through extensive renovations at the venue which include both inside and outside of the venue. The rooms have been the first to be completed with extra rooms and an elevator in the main entrance yet to be completed. This is unfortunately why we are using the outer entrance which we are aware also needs attention. The carpark is also earmarked to be fixed and we currently have quotes to fix the potholes. We are so sorry that your visit to the Ashley was not what you were hoping for but please be assured that we are doing everything in our power to address all of the concerns that you expressed.
