It's a self-seviced accommodation from check-in to check-out, simply a place for sleep and parking. Basic in-room facilities are good and cleanliness is excellent, and you can find restaurants in walking distance.

Hotel is near the cbd and easy to walk every where. There are a lot of hills or steep inclines but a nice place to stay.

We stayed one night, on a Saturday. The hotel is very well located and walking distance to the town. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking City Park. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The only downside was, it was a little noisy at night - you could hear the traffic and those in the rooms above during the night. Pack your earplugs!

We stayed in a premium twin room overlooking the park. The bathroom looked like it had been renovated and was spotless. The beds and linen felt like new and were very comfortable. Still a little work to complete on some of the furniture, but the owners are steadily refurbishing the hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again. Thanks

Motel type hotel with no human contact but on line as during covid time. Bed was comfortable to sleep inn.there is facility of coffee making.location is good opposite park. Just for us is the first time staying in a hotel/motel without reception but it works so we don't mind it. Hygiene n clean is a must.

The rooms are old and tired and the steps and the hill isn't idle but for the price was okay but I wouldn't stay again.

Good value for money for the location. Town center s attractions are walkable. The room is spacious. Most free private parking spots are ok while a few are at steep slope. Get yours not too late.

Staff was very friendly but also very intensive in some ways. Was told that not visitors period . Which I find very odd. Especially in a family promoted Family hotel.

2 days at the Commodore Regent. Spacious quiet rooms, comfortable queen size bed with authentic pillow support with linen and doona that provided the perfect combination for rest and sleep. Very short walk to pharmacy and iconic Royal Oak hotel and view into Royal Park and across to the Northern side of town was an added bonus. Facilities were more than adequate and reception provided a lovely, friendly welcome and goodbye. Very happy with this motel

Booked for festivale great spot to walk to and from but expensive due to time of year and has zero extras just a room with a bathroom. We ended up driving home and not even staying. If you want to be close to the park a good spot.

Nice place, just a few issues. No pin emailed for key collection, and circuit breaker had tripped, so many lights didn’t work. Luckily we arrived before reception staff left, so they quickly sorted out the keys. The night manager then fixed the lights within 30 min. Overall, a great place in a great location.

No staff on-site on Saturday and Sunday but not needed. Only a phone call away. Great location and everything one would need was provided in the room.
