Great place with heaps of wildlife and so peaceful. Only thing I would suggest to anyone going there would be if they are taking laptops or and devices like that make sure they are fully charged first as there is nowhere to charge them. Not that this is a bad thing but maybe helpful info for other people

Great location, peaceful and secluded, would need a 4wd in bad weather... the bed was rock hard unfortunately, the fire was great... the shared bathroom facilities were clean but cold and the shared kitchen was average, no fridge.. it'd be great if the owners included a BBQ/hotplate at the tipee just to make a cuppa etc.

We stayed in a big tree cabin, it was just incredible. It is located in the midle of the forest, super peaceful and clean. Plenty of wild life around and great short bush walks to do. Highly recommend this place.

The place is Beautiful. Everything is very nice the main problem is the terrible beds. For this money the bed for me has to be very comfortable and unfortunately this is the worst bed I have slept in. I’ve stayed in a lot of places all around the world.

Room (Tipee) was un appealing from the outside but quite unique inside we understood it to have some kitchen facility but found it was only access to the camp kitchen this area was lovely but could be better equipped the gas BBQ was old and some burners did not work kettle had no lid not much cutlery no teaspoons it was all nice and clean though. Advertising of the available facilities could have been clearer

Pros: location and the walks. Cons: heat in the teepee was very hot. I think it was extremely over priced for the facilities that it provided. There wasn’t a lock on the door, which made it insecure.
Hello Maria, Glad that you enjoyed the walks and natural location. When you book a stay with us, you are paying not only for a place to sleep but an entire nature experience. For $150 you received peak season accommodation for 2 people, a wildlife experience and 5km hiking trails. No where else you could get all this for that price. Note that when you stay more than 1 night, there are substantial savings. According to the Weather Bureau official records the maximum daytime temperature during your visit was 24.4 degrees C. If the tipee was "very hot" as you state, it could only be because you lit the fire. To say the tipee was hot is simply untrue. There IS a lock on the door. I have no idea why you would say there is no lock ? This is also untrue.

At a very confusing time of grief these people were rude when i rang to say we were running late. Had booked for two nights the man verbally told me id only booked for one making me think the whole reservation was dodgy. As a tasmanian born and bred and after the fires tassies tourist attractions need to be welcome not turn a paying guest off in a few min phone call. Disgusted as was looking fowrd to the healing power of the retreat. Will go elsewhere. Please agoda refund my money so i can go to accomodation with spa and relaxation
Hello Linda, I am sorry that you made a mistake with your booking and that you chose to telephone in the middle of the night when I was sound asleep. Our office hours are 8am to 8pm, 24 hours for emergencies. If you phone when I am asleep, and my computer turned off, I cannot always guarantee a perfect answer to questions about how long you have booked for. However, in this case, it seems that I gave you 100% correct information. I have checked the booking that you made on Agoda and you definitely booked just one night. Here is the extract from the booking that you mad. The dates are entered by you during the booking process. I do not enter the dates at my end: Customer First Name Linda Customer Last Name XXXXXXXX Country of Residence Australia Check-in February 19, 2019 Check-out February 20, 2019 Other Guests [RmNo.1] Guest of Linda XXXXXXXX Clearly, the error was yours. Not a reason to give us a poor review.

It was certainly an eye-opening experience for one who has never been to an eco-friendly accommodation before. We bathed in filtered rain-water, used solar power for the lights, used firewood for heat and had no wifi. It is awakening since we had taken all these convenience for granted for too long a time. The surroundings were both serene and refreshing. If you want to recharge from a busy city life and get away from it all, you should definitely try this.

We stayed here for a valentines treat and it was all we could have asked for. The tipee was lovely with a log burner and a secluded decking area where we sat and watched wallabies and possums. The outdoor bath was shared with the camp site, but no-one else used it while we were there. All you need to do is book a time slot on the whiteboard and it's all yours for an hour and a half. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Just in the yacht port located, it´s a very stylish hotel with everything needed. Good restaurant. Pool, no sauna.

Michael was so helpful. He even laid and lit the fire. I fed the possums and Wallabies, with joey on board. They eat out of your hand. One followed me into the cabin. Gorgeous. I would suggest having something to do the dishes with, and a tea towel. If you are considering going here, remember that there is no TV etc. It is definitely a bush retreat. I loved it.
