I enjoyed my stay at this Motel. I recommended it to my mother, who also enjoyed her stay. The Italian restaurant on site is very good. There are KFC and McDonalds within 100 mtrs, but right across the road is an excellent Thai restaurant and the historic Pineapple Hotel which both have fantastic range of food and prices.

I had a decent stay at this hotel for 2 nights. I stayed there because I went to the stereosonic festival. The hotel was cheap and affordable. It was clean and updated and it even had a microwave, kitchen sink and toaster. The check in and check out was fast and the reception guy was polite. It is located in a quiter part of Brisbane (kangaroo point) and there's some bars and restaurants close by and close to the gabba and hospitals. There's 2 things I didn't like about the hotel is that it is next to the busy Main Street so you hear cars speeding past at night and if you stay on weekend the buses to the city only go every hour. I will stay again if I go to another festival because it's cheap and clean.

This place was a mix bag. It was cheapest we could find for that weekend but we got what we paid for. It wasnt a room we wanted to lounge around in. It was a room that we used to sleep and shower in and thats it. Its dated. The carpets are terrible but it was in a great spot. Across the road from pineapple hotel, close to Southbank and cafe next door for breaky. The managers were very friendly, especially Julie who helped fix a booking error that the previous manager had mis informed me about. My friends room was in a worse state with curtains hanging off the rod but otherwise similar. Bed was ok but not super cozy. This is really just a place to stay for convience not a place for a romantic get away etc as it doesnt make you want to hang around in the room. The staff are really friendly and tried to go extra mile where possible and I think are trying to turn things around and make it better.

“許容”
Five people + an under 2 year old in a motel room without adequate room to move or storage or hanging space for 4 nights was not what I thought I had booked. We were given a rollaway bed, which was requested, except there was really nowhere for this to be placed. All beds were up against each other. The room was dingy and rubbish was still under the bed from previous guests. The freezer section of the bar fridge had not been defrosted in some days and one main electrical switch was cracked. I obviously did not read the 'motel' part of the booking as I thought I had booked an apartment. I do not believe that the accommodation was legal in this instance so we moved out after 2 nights and went to another apartment block. Why did we stay 2 nights? Tried unsuccessfully to find something online after the first night. I had read the reviews but it appears we did not receive anything like the rooms described in some of the reviews.
