Room was excellent but no reception all contact was online and phone contact. Settler hotel next door was part of this deal. Was very difficult to get in room as room is leased by online company.

Had a little bit of difficulty through the booking with Agoda but Stacey was amazing at sorting it out. Lovely people, lovely place, highly recommend!

The description of the room did not meet our expectations. The spa bath is so small and not at all what we expected. The courtyard view was of a paved area with a large table and again not what we expected. All in all it felt like a hotel that a hooker would use to take the company to. We certainly would not go back here and at$140 per night we are extremely disappointed.

Friendly staff, meals were large and tasty although basic. Really enjoyed the entertainment, it was lovely listening to the music while enjoying our meal rather than going back to our room.

My wife and I stayed a Saturday night in the deluxe room at Settlers House and were very happy with our choice. The room was very quiet on the day and night we stayed but very close to the main street and next door to the restaurant and entertainment and easy to walk to. We had a great time Saturday night listening to the live band and enjoying dinner there. Our room was very comfortable and had all we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A lovely old style hotel, open wood fires in the dining room, excellent food, very friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble. Located right in the centre of town, making it very easy to get around. Most enjoyable.

“Cozy and comfortable ”
Had a lovely stay at Settlers House York. The room was cozy and comfortable, with all the essential room amenities provided. Although some of the plug points were a bit hard to reach, the room thoughtfully included an extension plug, which made it very convenient. The staff at the front desk was friendly,and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
